So police arrest mi 'frien' a Ja saying he is a wanted man. When quiet honestly, the profile pic only LOOK like him but a no him. No fingerprinting done, just lock him up and ask a bag a questions if him come from "Ochi" when him come from "Kingston". Drag him off him bike at the wholesale. One police seh "mek we kill de murderer...another said no mek we run him and see wha come up. So him end up inna jail. ;( After verification from witnesses as to my 'friend's" character and where he was on such and such a day they asked, and knowing a babylon who knew him to verify, and check seh a no wanted man fi true, they released him 9 hours later even though one ugly mouth babylon still a protest seh dem naw release 'the murderer' and NO fingerprints where done.

Look how mi "frien" couldda dead gone man. *grieved* Dem corrupt police there. There needs to be better due process system in Jamaica.

There needs to be better due process system in Jamaica.

Police need to be held accountable for their actions. Right now there is a slim to none chance of victims families obtaining justice against police.

I went through this a couple years ago with a family member. He was by no mean innocent, and dem decide when dem ketch him fi kill him. He went to them without a struggle, but the plan was to kill, arresting him was not an option.

Let's just say he is lucky.
Same thing happened to I in MoBay in the early 80s. But I was never arrested, all the harassment and 3rd degree bullying took place on spot, even when they saw ifficial ID.
