Someone said that I was name dropping and posting irrelevant videos. I didn't see that post so I am not sure who posted it. I only saw someone quoting it and laughing about it. So I said I love Wahalla's adventures but I notice that when he shares what he had done and who he has done it with, no one accuses him of name dropping. He asked me for examples and I gave him a couple. Now I notice that he is starting threads with name dropping in the title or apologizing for name dropping. So, I thought it would be to also . I wouldn't worry about it too much and name droping will eventually stop.

the example u used was not a case of name drapping.... I never claimed association with any of the sports men I named... nor did I mention the name of my colleague.... I mentioned Paul allens yatch that I saw and disliked... If I had said the name of the Yatch the Olympus that would not give context. I dont know Paul Allen..

You asked for example, I told you I am not going to search for them. I shared a couple of examples that I could think of off the top of my head. Wahalla, since you asked for them, as I come across more examples I will post them.

The point is you do talk about your adventures and experiences and the people you share them with. You know that you do it. So what? They are interesting posts and there is nothing wrong with doing that.

My only point was that when you do it, one has a problem with it. Not sure why people have a problem with it when I do it and frankly neither do I care. However, it is just one more example of the double standard at play here and I was not going to miss the opportunity to point it out.

No it isn't. I know some people, so do you, Vannie, KIA, Emperah, and others. The Jamaican community is relatively small. There many be $5 million of us worldwide. We are all bound to have some friend or relative who has made it in sports, politics or the entertainment business. Sometimes I even interview them for the front page. Many other boardites also post about people they know and do. Off the top of my head, KIA's great stories about her niece who won the modelling competition come to mind. It was interesting to follow that and cheer her on and exciting when she won that competition.

If something is in the news and I happen to know someone involved, sometimes, I do stories for the front page and share them on the board. So do other boardites. This site is looking for content.

Not sure why this would be a problem to you or anyone else. Since it is such a huge problem, I will be very hesitant to interview people in the future. There are many other places on-line and off-line where I can share content and not one of them gives any of the aggravation that one encounters here.

Yet for years you stalked certain Members to spy on what they were posting and if the content was not what you approved of, specifically if it as you claimed gave Jamaica a bad-name you would seek to have the Poster blocked and his/her content removed from the Board.

This is the Second and Last Time I am Clarifying This

There are 3 specific issues here that have absolutely nothing to do with the issue at hand that wa of concern to me. You don't seem to be clear about what was of concern to me so let me re-hash it again.

I was concerned because a member did 2 very specific things

- posted contact information for someone without their permission in violation of our group rules
- contacted a subject of a news story, made them aware of a heated discussion about something traumatic that had happened to them, shared the link and invited them to join the discussion. Why? He was not in agreement with what was posted.

I have NEVER done any of those things and if you claim I have you are a liar.

I have done the following that have nothing to do with the 2 areas of concern I raised in the other thread:

- 1. clicked on notify and informed moderators of content that violated our rules or that was of concern to me - it is my right to do that as a member

- 2. in your specific case about 8 - 9 years ago, I felt you were bashing Jamaica constantly and you only had negative to say about Jamaica. I did notify a moderator of one of a couple of your posts that I felt had crossed the line. It is my right to do this as a member to use the notify button and I make no apologies for that. Flippin get a life!! I guess you will be about this for the next 20 years.

At the time, I was naive enough to believe that the moderators were actually professional and had some regard for confidentiality. Clearly, some of them are very unprofessional as they informed you. Shame on you. That is not my problem. So get over it or take it up with the individuals who are thoroughly unprofessional and don't realize that moderators in ANY forum are supposed to respect confidentiality.

- 3. yes, I have from time to time (rarely) and again 8 or 9 years ago - done independent research about topics that were discussed here. I never made any experts on particular topics aware of the discussions, sent them the link or invited them to post here.

So what is the punishment for these terrible crimes? The guillotine, the electric chair or the firing squad? Or am I to be pilloried in the public square?

I do for the most part but when people are telling blatant lies, it is important to address the lies from time to time so that people don't take them as the truth. That may be why I am alerted sometimes.
