I was thinking the other day how hard it must be to wake everyday with the so intention of carrying a gun, armed against you brother.... a fellow Jamaican.
I used to be armed daily, till one day I walked into a Police Station and forgot I had a gun, when I reached over the guard room desk to knock fist with the cop I was visiting I, noticed out of the corner of my eye my shirt, which was partly unbuttoned, had swung open and I could just see the heel of my gun.
I pushed up against the counter and when I got home, I got rid of the gun and I never needed it again while I lived in Jamaica.
I am not going to pass judgement on these guys, maybe it is a phase and they will get over it.

It is obvious that the present system is not working.
Not only should ganja be legalized and tightly controlled by the government (use the income to pay the police a good wage to wipe out corruption) but I agee with Blu and suggest guns shold be legally available to all law-abiding Jamaicans to carry for their own protection.

Even though weed is a dangerous drug, it has become even more dangerous with the State laws against it. The 100 years of illegal weed in Jamaica has contributed to the drug culture.

Makes us almost long for the good old ganja drug days
Peter made the comment that Ganja is hard work as he desedeed by hand and identified the male .. This is something I kept saying as it somethimes comes across as a lazy man occupation. .....Man and man who grow it would rather not compared, to say peas or corn or yam it is a constant battle....the single advantage is u get a return if it comes in... the other thing is it is a loney persuit... a farmer has to avoid contact with any one too much tief murderer an babylon.....so if he needs help it is hard to find.... u sit at rum bar and listen to many a tale of mis direction, betrayal and busts....
He made a comment that customers ddnt like the seed... I know some liked the seeds in the spliff as they sometimes popped when burnt... I heard tales of yanki buyer who used to wanted the dried matured seeds to pay premium for them....Last edited by Wahalla; 10-07-2013, 05:42 AM.

Watch till the end you will get a funny surprise .....Orville!
Great documentary though it very carefully avoids the real cocaine bosses. No, not the dons. They are the mere foot soldiers.
