In a contest sponsored by 99designs and whose judges included the Post’s Robert McCartney, eight finalists were selected if Dan Synder ever changed his mind and allowed his Washington football team to change its name. We included them and a few other suggestions from among the 1,887 entrants, most of which used the suggested team names of the Griffins, Renegades or the Warriors.
