My family tree is turning into a real "My Family Forest", where
everyone is connected to someone else. I hope that it will become
large enough that Jamaicans will look there to see who knows who, and
find e-mail addresses and re-establish contacts with old time friends.
Please feel free to make your contribution by providing me with names
of those you feel have roots in "My Family Forest".

I am trying to verify a link connecting Sir Alexander Bustamante to my
mother's side of the family. You don't have to have much of an
interest in My Family Forest, but if you have some knowledge in
Jamaican National Heroes it would help.

I had to make one assumption. If Florence Constantine (1855) and Busta
(1884) were 1st cousins then Michael Constantine would have had to
have a sister who married Robert Constantine Clarke. This generation
has a three decade gap, could that be possible??
I need further info. on these Constantines.

But that would make Busta 1st cousin once removed from Florence
Constantine.

I know that Michael Constantine married and three of his issues were:

.. * Fannie Constantine m. Rev Bill's brother Daniel Graham

.. * Mr Constantine m. an Unknown with 1 known issue
.. . * Bertie Constantine m. an Unknown with 1 known issue
.. . . * Mitzi Constantine m. Edward Seaga no details of issues

This looks like a very impressive list here, but it has gaps.
The important gaps to close are:-
1. Who did Robert Constantine Clarke marry, and who was his mother?
2. Who did Michael Constantine marry, and what were the names of their
issues?

This would provide me with the name of Mitzi's grand father who is
supposed to be the brother of Florence and Fannie Constantine. This is
the link that will prove that Mitzi is connected to my mother's side
of my Family Forest.

Then up the ladder one rung is this Robert Clarke. If he did in fact
marry the sister of Michael Constantine then that would provide me
with the link that proves that Busta was connected to the Constantines

who were connected to my mother's family in my Family Forest.

Constantine Clarke. Florence Constantine (circa 1855) as the daughter
