This is one of my favorite episodes so far - much better than last week.

First of all, Alan Ball needs to just go ahead and create a series about gay men and get that out his system. There was a bit too much man-on-man UST in one episode for me.

That said, Laffy & Jesus were too cute. Did you notice how Laffy's eyeshadow matched his top? LOL Jesus is good looking.

How come Cooter could invite the vampires into Alcide's flat? Cooter never lived there.

Loved the Viking flashback, Tara trying to play Franklin, Bill warning Sookie (although I reckon that fight was a set up for Bill to lead Edlington to her), Eric turning up, shirtless-almost-deputy Jason flirting with Crystal, etc.

Franklin is ridiculous & pathetic. He and Lorena would make the perfect couple. How come nobody is looking for Tara? I guess Sam & Lafayette are too busy and the mother is trying to wrap up with the parson. When she got caught by the werewolf, I wanted her to get the cord round his neck and pull.

Best line:Franklin saying, "Look how fast I can type mother****er."

Best unspoken line: the absolutely gleeful look on Eric's face when Bill said, "Sookie is no longer mine."

I didn't miss Tara's crazy momma.
I did miss Pam.

@ BlackStar - Excellent catch about Cooter inviting vampires into Alcide's flat. Do you have to live there to invite them in or can anybody do it? Now I can't even remember if Alcide invited Bill in.

I thought Lafayette and Jesus had great chemistry. I didn't see that coming at the nut house.

I think Tara and Franklin had horrible chemistry. He is downright obnoxious.

Jason is crazy as a bessie bug. I nearly died of laughtter when he just showed up for work like wha!

I don't blame Sookie. I would not have bit more stayed in that apartment alone for that crazy woman to come back for me either.

Eric! (Insert oohs and ahhs as necessary) Alcide is better eye candy, but nobody can knock Eric out the no. 1 stunner spot.

I don't understand why the king is so angry with Bill about Sookie. It is not like he didn't know they were a couple. He was even going to use her as bait to force him to join his court What's the problem?

I wonder if Eric is going to murder the Mississippi Queen and go help Bill fight. I don't think seeing that crown can have any calm results because he's been carrying that grudge a long time.

And do you think Arlene needs to come clean with Terry or is it too late? She should have straightened it out right there in the bar from the get go. I would not want to be no where around him if he finds out.

Ok, back to this again. I guess you have to live there or otherwise Sookie would have been able to invite Bill into Jessica's parent's house when she was about to kill her daddy in Season 2. You remember he had to glamour her little sister to invite him in? Again, great catch BlackStar!

Did you really mean Louisana Queen?

I think the king is angry because: Sophie-Anne was interested in Sookie's special talents; it seems Sophie-Anne and possibly Bill are aware of the extent of Sookie's powers; Bill did not mention any of that to the king; and the king likes to have useful beings at his beck &amp; call, c.f. werewolves. He doesn't just collect pretty trinkets.

When Eric's expression changed as he sight the crown, I knew the king was in for it. That was a helluva flashback that followed. I enjoy the Viking ones more than Bill's Civil War memories because Eric was always kickass.

My predictions for deaths this season has increased in number: King, Talbot (who won't be able to live w/o him), Queen, Franklin, Lorena, Magister, were-Swayze, were-Cooter, plus some other weres. The final episodes are going to be a real bloodbath, just wonder how we're going to get there...

Oh I most definitely meant Mississippi lol. I just couldn't think of his name while I was typing.

I think for sure the king is going down because Eric has been carrying that vengeance order from his dad for at least a thousand years. That's a wrap. One season for him lol. I like him though; he cracks me up.

I agree that Eric's flashbacks are always the best.

The magister is the scariest character on the show. I would not mind if they killed him off, but I guess if they didn't have some vampires to keep law and order and show no mercy, then there would be complete chaos.

As for Lorena, I could kill her myself. She is a pain in my a**hole. I'm sick of her popping up. Please just make her go away for good. Stake her! Blame all the V sales on her and let the council or whatever the governing authority is put her to death.

It wasn't there, they looked completely awkward an it wasn't them ACTING shy and nervous

There was much more gay chemistry between Eric and the king's playboy...the looks and smiles and likkle flirting was much more natural and real than the other 2, dem did jus look uncomfortable

See, that was the thing Bizi. It was not the lust style, one night stand chemistry. It was more of the oh they might actually get in a relationship chemistry. To be honest, I think it was the only gay interaction of all the many that have occurred on the show that didn't make me feel uncomfortable. I actually had to wonder if I have been desensitized lol.
