In Washington, DC area, my early tulips, wood hyacinths, and other bulbs are pushing through the ground. The forsythias are budding and just about ready to burst into their showy yellows. I cleaned up debris around my raised vegetable beds and getting ready to order seeds from catalogs. I have to admit, when the Burpee catalog arrived my heart went pitta patta
