outta door mi plant some peas, carrot, strawberry, mint, thyme, rosemary, basil, found some oregano out deh arredy and cilantro (i think)

inna mi house mi seed dem start spring up - tomato, onion, cabbage.

squash and cantelope nuh spring up yet.

the little one loves the idea of digging in the dirt

Hush mi just like when kids mek up them mind where food is concern.

The ones you plant will be sweet because you not going to force ripe them.

no man. is not like I refuse to give it to them because i don't like it. With them every fruit and vegetable is a struggle.

and when i try something with them and the result is and/or literally , I eventually give up and move on to something else.

and especially if I don't eat it, chances are high that it just gwine sit down and spoil, suh me not inclined to buy it again.

CB, how about taking them with you to the plant nursery and have them pick out two plants or seed packet each: one from the herb family and one from the flower family.

For the herbs, there are so many mint varieties that smell like orange, apple, even chocolate. For the flowers - let them pick something hardy like marigolds or sunflower. They are common in vegetable gardens.

Oh, how about planting a bean tent in a sunny area? They might like this. They can collect the sticks for the bean poles and each build their own tent.
