Yep. Although that photo doesn't do the tiles (porcelain) justice. Tiles are around bath and floors.

ooo - had the first of two contractors come by today to look over my bathroom so they can give me an estimate for a reno. am getting inspired by your new guest bathroom, pz. especially the use of large tiles. especially loving the long mirror over the sink.

where do u have your bathroom storage?

Yes to the large tiles

I don't yet have storage for towels and bathroom articles. I do need something because I no longer have a linen closet (more about that later). There is space for bathroom furniture and I would like something antique (real or faux) to sort of &quot;soften&quot; the modern look.

The faucets are in chrome finish - Grohe brand. The tub is Kohler and the toilet is Toto.

the contractor was recommending chrome faucets and Toto toilet, but Moen brand for the taps. It's good to see examples of what he was talking about.

how long did the reno take? did u select the fittings (sink, tiles, style of faucet)?

The guest bath took less than four weeks. I did not select the fittings, tiles etc. per se. The designer/contractor spent several weeks with me as we went over ideas (talking and via magazines) as she got to understand my taste. I also told her I was not a micro-manager for this project ... just bring me three samples and ideas and let me choose. She was good about this and I trusted her taste
