glad you were not hurt
brings back memories of
when my Dad shot an intruder
that he caught in our home
and got charged
by the cops because he
shot him in the back
some law about he was fleeing
and posed no harm
Dad got off but spent money
for a lawyer he
says if knew he would be
charged he would have shot
intruder in the head
says if he is being charged it
should have been for killing
the bastard for violating his home

OH MY!!! SandiF, sorry to hear of this incident. Thankfully you were not physically harmed, but I can only imagine the mental anguish this has caused you.

It will take a while to regain your sense of safety, a home alarm and/or a dog may help you get through this.
