had mi meltdown finally

it's been over a month of being in di hospital, having the baby and now have him stuck there. he also failed his carseat test (haffi sit in it for 90 minutes without heart rate plunging) last night so i left feeling pretty bummed.

my sistren who also from yard but live east coast (20 nuff years of friendship) landed today and is like mi feel like mi can finally just let go and mek smaddy else tek care a mi fi a likkle.

so yeah, had my meltdown at the hospital todeh . mi decide fi juss low di fellow mek him mature and come home when the time right.

twiney trust mi, mi know dem a do dem job, but if is not one ting is a next. feel like hotel california to raatid - u can check in but u can never check out

well di ting is that him haffi have good neck control so him can sit up inna di seat and control him head inna crash ascording to them if him did stay inna di womb longer then him wuda did get more practice wid di neck ting (him have good control lifting him head backwards but not forward)

mi have exercises fi do wid him fi strengthen it now so him can do better inna di seat

mi tell dem fi juss medivac hm backside home and mi will never put him in a cyar seat till him tun 18! can u tell mi getting frustrated? that's why mi haffi juss calm dung and ress miself likkle.

hush tickla. maybe is a blessing in disguise, as u seh, time for you to get a little rest and tlc before alex comes home.

a woman at work here had twins and the younger one failed the car seat test the first time. didnt even know they had such a thing, but it seems to be a good test. so yes, let him get a little stronger while u are getting ur rest.

As u seh just try stop worry bout the process suh much and let Alex do what him need to do.

Believe me Tickla .. mek dem do dem job. memba dem a look out fi di welfare of Alex too. And dem is right about that neck control in a car seat..In case someting goh happen out dere (which you can;t foresee) him neck can pap! God forbid. SO please mek im stay deh til im mature as yuh seh.

Dem seh nutten neva happen before it's time. embrace that and know that in due time your on will be home. You know he is getting stronger every day. He will be fine. So will you.

Mi did imagine this but now it happen mi shaken up. Mi come in &amp; one a di twin dem weh bawn same day as Alex gawn . Yesterday I overheard that he had an infection. His mom was crying so mi know it did bad. Is shortly after this I broke down.

This is a strange place. The nurses see mi reaction when mi see di empty spot but them cannot address it directly. Dem come by &amp; have small talk bout Alex I guess as a way fi tell mi nuffi worry &amp; everything will alright.

Mi fren was trying to be optimistic by saying him must be in surgery but them admitting a new baby in this room &amp; I think is dat spot dem using.

Mi nuh see di parents yet but mi really holding out hope fi dem

Good news! Baby twin not dead. He was so sick he got transferred to somewhere else.

he passed his car seat test tonight so him can come home thursday

but ... it wouldn't be my life if there wasn't a &quot;but&quot;

di nurse weh run it lose the results and waan put him back inna it tonight (dat wuda mek 3 hrs) mi tell har no way. fuss she can try again fi retrieve the results and if that nuh work him can do it again a mawning if mi nuh feel like mek noise bout dem lax ways.

u know seh when mi show di pic of him inna di seat when him fail it wah day here to one a di nurse weh look after him todeh, she immediately point out what dem did do wrong . there must be a reason why dis whole thing a get drag out.

oh and i highly suggest you get the car seat professionally installed - some fire departments do it - installing it is more than the notion - i had mine installed and the guy told me he took a week course to learn how to do it correctly

he said after he completed the course - he came home and apologized to his kids for endangering their lives
