mi never ketch it u nuh. nancy too nuff (mi see she a comment pon other things in the news like conrad murray. why she nuh focus on dancing? so was she dat bad, compared to di ress? she hitting chaz bono depths now?

as fi mi, mi bp really a test dem. at night it starts creeping up and once it do dat there is a chance it get inna dangerous territory and dem cyaan bring it dung so dem wud haffi deliver. so mi do yoga, play mi soothing music fi hours, have tv off, low lights, lay dung and chill to mi music - nada. nutten nuh work.

of course it nuh help that the nurse a come in every 30 mins fi check mi pressure. dat just mek mi more anxious, finally 2:00am dem gimme iv meds fi bring it dung.

so as of today mi regular meds gwine get tweaked again to help the evening readings come dung. bubba stilll cool though.

ladies,it's been really cool having oonu fi chat to. mi never know a anonymous billetin board coulda provide summuch support and ting bubba have nuff auntie on yah

Nothing much new. Deh yah a watch Hoarders

New meds so waiting to see if they work tonight. Nights are rough - new med, can't move caw hooked up to iv &amp; monitor. I get to unhook and move around to bathroom or stretch mi legs but it limited. What's harder is having pressure checked every 5 mins then every hour.

Cannot do mi yoga so do breathing exercises &amp; talking to bubba to stay put.

kia, i've made it a point to not be in the bed today unless mi have to. since bubba was doing well, i finally got let off the 24 hr monitoring. still on iv though. but was able to move around.

mi nuh have We tv. but it look like there is a program weh name Monster in laws weh look like it have nuff potential fi wholeepa drama. mi cyaan believe seh ppl allow dem inlaws fi treat dem so.

so same rough night again last night - hourly checks, bp spike at 2:00 am, oral meds don't mek a diff, get iv fi tek it dung, back on the monitor, checks every 5 mins fi abt 1/2 hr then hourly chks, 4:00am mi give up the idea of sleeping

oh and mi deh pon mi 5th iv line in 9 days. yes dem hurt

one nice resident always come see mi b4 6:00 am just him. nobody naw do nuh rounds but him come chat. tell mi him like mi smile , ask mi when mi sleep caw everytime him come in mi up! we talk likkle bout the plan of action den mi see him next mawning again.

anyway, dem up evening dose of anedda drug to see what will happen tonight but mi naw wait pon dem. mi a try live as normal as possible inna di hospital and tek some control:

- mi join dem fi art and craft pon the floor this evening (did it last week too and liked it)
- schedule a traveliing masseuse fi 10:30 pm fi get a 1 hr massage
- have on mi music - tv mute
- fren a carry mi one big burger
- cranberry juice fi flush mi system
- clove a garlic under mi tongue like mi modda wud do
- mi may actually ask fi a sleep aid so mi can sleep thru the probing and prodding weh gwaan a night time

if this nuh work i think i will just resort to mi final plan and bawl

bubba measuring 3lbs 13 oz and have some big feet - 6.5 cm heel to toe. him in the 26th percentile but with high blood pressurehim will likely start fall off the curve. still trying to keep him in as long as him continue to do well
