OK so that evening we were kinda tired from the drive back to Kingston and all so didn;t do anything - hung out at home with my niece and her fam - dem have wan MAD parrot deh yuh si - him SWEAR say him is a human - I was provoking him by flashing mi skirt afta him - him jump off de table an RUN MI DUNG
My nephew caught it on video but I told him if it surface anywhere on the net he was DEAD!

What a nice long visit... and to see mommie and daddy.. made me smile really wide and lift mi head to ZION to si mi own...

Jamaican Fried Chicken.

Now I consider misef a master fryer of the yard bird.. learned from mi Great Granny.. mi Nanna.. and mi Momma... but it is something about the way they fry the chicken.. that cannot be taught only mastered

I am definately saving space for some POTS/PANS when I go this time...that has to be the trick (not)

Looking forward to the rest of the food -o- holic pics.. JAH know mi miss JA food bad.. gonna bring NUFF back with me in the Winter...

Even though the boiled banana make mi stomach feel a way.. I seen it eaten like it was the best thing in the world... the whole worl...

Next day I decided to make my market run... I always get fresh local meat from the butcher - no imported supermarket meat for me wen mi deh ah yawd - also fresh veggies etc.

fry dumplin and saltfish and cabbage for breakfast... and then we were off to crossroads market.

The meat market was so clean and neat!

Mi say I have never seen rain come so quickly an so ferociously - I was praying all the way up de hill dat de cyar nevva shut off - it was literally up to the doors that quickly
