We got pulled over twice by the cops on this trip - once just above Ochi - and he made no bones about eh fact that he was looking a bribe - so we left some money there and continued... we get ketch agen - on that nice strip of road likkle before you get to Falmouth - this was a real stop and there was no bribery going on...

anyway - after a few questions of where mi staying etc. dem decide to give mi ah bligh an then dem drop een two word about how mi nice

We got to the hotel without further incident and saw the rest of our party as we approached the lobby...

We had decide to stay at the Sunset Beach and Spa resort for a number of reasons

1. It had a very nice water park for the kids to enjoy
2. It was all inclusive which is what we wanted after the week of running about in Kingston
3. I had heard that they served the best Jamaican food of any resort on the island
4. Our travel agent got us really good deal

Thoroughly enjoying your report thus far Jazzy .....the incident at the river reminds me of something that happened to us on our way from Negril to Mandeville during our last trip.....I knew exactly what you went through.....glad you guys made it out safe.......

that is the good thing about our people....no matter what....... they always provide a helping hand.....not to mention that we are extremely resourceful....
