She should just leave well enough alone and give him the benefit of the doubt......not a lot of people have coverage on their plan for oversees call.....maybe he has a legit reason for not calling.....the text message on the phone could be talking about anybody......the best thing for her to do is go pick him up at the time he is due back and no bother hurt up her head about who coming in with him cause the next person dont have to be on the same flight....they could be coming back a day early or late.......if he is cheating it will eventually come out......they dating from February no mean anything....everybody still a fish round

This smacks of a set up to me I think he deliberately left the phone in the hopes that your friend would find it. and even sent himself (or had a friend) send him fake text messages. He wanted your friend to find the phone. Looks like this guy wants to be out of this relationship and, knowing how wacko this chick is, could not break up with her easily or rationally for that matter. He is not very adult either.

I've gotten text and im messages from exs that not right and i didnt ask for it and yes they are people i was just frens with them at that point had to tell one to lose my number in fact pretend we never met.
