not that the intent is a surprise, but the actual timing of the asking can be a surprise....

For example....

My friend was living with her BF, while doing laundry she found the reciept for the ring he bought so she knew the proposal was coming.

Now she is one a dem spwile princess type a person always haffie have outfit fi occasion and plan erryting an tek hours fi get ready fi goh a work.

So him find out seh she find out bout di ring so him delay di asking fi bout 2-3 weeks.

She stawt fret now a call call mi every minute a bawl

So one mawnin she in di bawtchrrom a get ready fi work, still have har glasses on (contact wearer) and him inna di kitchen a mek coffee an breakfast fi dem.

Him call har out wid some excuse fi come inna di dining room.
She walk in an di fuss ting shi seh is &quot;why is it so dark in here? did the bulb blow?&quot;

Meanwhile missa man have candle light breakfast fancy setting pan di table an got down on him knee an pop di question

She was beyond surprised
