LMAO EmGee, well mi love ska too so that's all good to me

it has many many different riddims that can be played on pan, it is all dependant upon how a particular arranger chooses to present a piece of music. they can arrange it into any different kind of rhythm they wish. we have some tunes we play in calypso riddim, some reggae, some jazz, some R&B, some with a latin riddim, and yes, we play some parang too, around chrismusstime! ..... just all kindsa different ones.

but of course miss jellus gf never got that far in her knowledge of the thing. cause she was too impatient, and too know-it-all, to keep mouth shut &amp; eyes open, and <span style="font-style: italic">learn</span> something <span style="font-style: italic">with</span> me. so she missin out on alla it. instedda tryin to take me away from it, we could easily have been doing this together and having fun. now, i could respect that it was not her choice to get serious about this thing, and was happy to see her once in a while - but she could never respect that it <span style="font-style: italic"> was</span> my choice, and be OK with seeing me less. instead she threw a fit cause i would not give her 100% of my time anymore, and instead chose no friendship with me at all..... oh well.

prezackly jazz. all my other gf's, we are like this with one another, we truly love each other and wish each other all good happiness no matter where and how. there's no begrudging what the other does never mind whether we see each other every day, every month, or even every year. my BFF went away to live in africa and UK for 5 years, i went to live in colorado during that same time, &amp; when she reach back to the US we met up so i could help move her to her new job. and there wasn't anything special about it - i just walked into the airport parking lot where she had to pickup the rental car and it was like not a day ever pass that we weren't together. (except we mussi talked nonstop for four days tryna catch up on one anedda's stories) Then she married and moved away and have baby and we never talk for months til baby was almost two - then she got evrything together so she could start visiting again, and we picked right back up once more.... now I travel so see her whenever i can, and lovely little gal loves her Auntie Caf.

that gave me even more reason to believe that what went wrong with that other one, wasn't 'just me' causing the whole mess &amp; problem.

you mean tri-state area like PA/NJ/NY? we usually play at the philadlephia caribbean festival at Penn's Landing the last weekend in August.... i'll letya know!

As a young adult, my <span style="font-style: italic">best friend </span>and I used to spend a great deal of time together but it never interfered with my other <span style="font-style: italic">less close </span>friendships.

What mi neva like was fren who love fi tell yu what fi duh and when...now, mi had one of those and as soon as I could, mi had to dodge har...gosh...she was b o s s y...

Oh lawd....no....can't say I've had a friend who's that obsessive....but mi ave a cousin who did come close...you need to walk that girl out and keep her at a distance for your own sanity....sounds like trouble...
