I have to admit...that I am enjoying the state narcism that the people of TX have. it cracks me up every morning when mi hear di Pledge of Allegiance followed by the TX Pledge

Well the best part so far is that baby boy get to attend the on campus daycare
that kinda mek up fi everything PLUS the fact that you were able to take a leave from the MD job dem 2 points deh worth it for me PLUS yuh still have yuh MD house.

so after a year yuh can re-evaluate how tings going

Mi know Austin not so bad but mi nuh know nothing bout where unnu land

Yes certain parts of TX is nice and hey I am down with the no income tax. Most importantly it doesn't sound like a bad move for you and other than how it all came about it look like you might really like it...

the french canadians have a saying, qui prend marie prend pays. means that a woman's lot is to follow her husband to where he is.

not saying ilpy that there was anything mandatory in your case, but once u acknowledged the love that was there, it was pretty much a foregone conclusion. don't?

i'm actually surprised there's no wedding, i thought once unu left cosmopolitan parts and went back more country, the traditional thing would become de rigeur.

ah well. america confuse mi anyway. all the best to u and family in ur new life.

interesting premise there MG most folks are surprised that i went too. for me it isnt <span style="font-style: italic">where</span> mi live that matters as much as with <span style="font-style: italic">whom</span> i share my home. what peed me off was the manner in which he went about negotiating our move...it was as if he thought i'd have said no...well even though mi almost did anyhow im did continue wid Kansas as an option

Outside of family...most other things are negotiable as far a I am concerned. We simply negotiated in the end.

As for the marriage...not sure why that seems to be a far gone conclusion And mi not just talking you, MG. In my head and heart di current mr ilp is my partner for life....not sure why/how a piece of paper would make that any more or less a fact.
