TLC...I hear you and totally understand the emotions that you are experiencing. I have been there. I know what it is like to "love"/give someone "your years" and then coming to the point were you feel and realize that you have given/wasted it on them. I know the guilt that is associated with those emotions, I know the frustration, I know the morning that occurs and the sadness. I also know the liberation and joy that finally arrives.

With that said, I will share something that my father use to say a lot while I was growing up. I never fully understood what he was talking about until after my own incident of having my life flash before my eyes (no it wasnt no accident or anything like that, but it was my own wakeup call). My daddy use to say:

"Only be with a person that can make you better. Make you better mentally, physically, emotionally, and spiritually." Recently, I have added financially. Now I am not saying that a mate/husband/wife is supposed to do those things for you. Nor am I saying only deal with a person that can give you things to make these areas better. Because I dont think a person can do those things for another person (IMO). What I am saying is that I have come to understand is that that person will encourage and support you to live your life for you and on your terms and as a result you will be a better person in those areas for it. Obviously, in return you will do the same for them.

I have come to understand that I had to be a whole person (on my own, living my life for myself) BEFORE any man could come into my life. It was hard because I had to learn how to do that, but I did it. Being with the man I am with now has enhanced my life. Because he supports my endevors and quests, NO QUESTIONS ASKED, therefore, I am better in those areas that I mentioned before. A man that respects and loves you will love you when you love yourself BEFORE you love any other things or person. And trust me a true man can tell. They may not be able to name it or even put a finger on it, but they will recognize it. A true man will let you live. You will inturn let him live. No chasing, hating their life style, fighting, ultimatums, trying to work it out, figure it out, blah, blah, blah in that. It just all seems to work itself out. Dont get me wrong, you will still have arguments and stuff when you find that person you are supposed to be with. But the fights are different. Their tone is different. Sorry, that is another post. Anyways....

I will end with this: Embrace Life...Live. Live YOUR life and live it on your OWN terms. You will be suprised how many men will see that in you and want to join you on that journey.

Being alone is not as scary as you think TLC. You are still in the self discovery years of your life (trust me you are old enough to be an older sisters' child) and you will look back at this point in your life, as the time you really grew up. ((((TLC)))

We're rooting for ya! We (well, me, really ~lol~) might sound harsh sometimes, but it's only cause I, we, really want the best for you, and there's no point in just patting you on the head and saying 'there there...'

I think you're vacillating too much. The only thing you've clearly stated is that you want more kids and that you want their conception to occur within a certain time frame.

What you're currently unclear about is, whether or not you really want to be married and to whom you really want to be married and why you may or may not want to be married.

As been stated by ILP, Kia et al, take some time to be on your own. Discover who you are, what you want and what you can live with.

You may surprise yourself.
