mi like that di outfit lend itself to being able to eat. ahn oonu nu boddah judge me, that is very important at dem kinna big events
i was worried bout the stockings, but they worked too
ball gowns, limo service ahn them kinna things in this kind of economy...
mi love oonu washington elites oonu disconnect from di rest ah wi like what.
mi will read up on di event in the post tomorrow...mi can live through oonu like that.

It was the dinner gala for Africare held at the Building Museum Nelson Mandela was honored. He wasn't there to receive the honor (he is ill) but his daughter and grandson were there. Also honored was Exxon Mobile for their work in Africa and Dr. Ngozi Okonjo-Iweala (ol fren of fren of mine). Angelique Kidjoe performed Awrite, mi done drop name now

Mi seh. Mi si some outfit laas night, mi was jus dedding tinking bout wah Bizi or Gen would seh. Why dem 20-somethings women think that a likkle paste on hat thingy is style?

Also, at a formal dinner event on this scale, why do people insist on taking the floral centerpiece home with them? Mi seh, yuh shoulda si di ooman dem in dem gowns an sequins a snatch up di centerpieces?
