Gen I'm taking on the medicine ball personally because it kicked my butt the first encounter we had... My last set of classes I took the instructor did something similar to number 4 and while I didnt chip my knees I walked out of there wishing I could stab her. It works every muscle in my poor body.

p90x is an hour every day i hear....plus mucho dolares I have Supreme 90 which is a nice strength training workout and u have time to do some cardio after.

Healthy Living- Going Hard into 2k12

Morning ladies!


So for the first time in almost a year I went for a run/walk outdoors. I did 3 miles....took me all of 40 mins But surprisingly I didn't feel out of breath...I must be in better shape than I thought! But the thing is mi muscles burn di heck outta mi.. Will I ever stop feeling the burn? And what is a good 5k time fi a beginner? Training for one in May...

The schedule is as follows... Sun, Tue, Thur, Sat...run.... MWF Off...light excercise on Wed...

The lady in my running group tell me that I shouldn't be overly concerned about my time, at this point, and she even encourages me to slow down.

I've been wogging (run/walking) on the treadmill (on a slight incline) for years, but i feel that same burn now that I've transitioned to the much more hilly terrain outdoors. It seems to go away after the first mile or two at this point. I've been told that i should feel it less and less as i become more accustomed to running outside.

you can also do these without the medicine ball.. your body weight and core strength is what makes this challenging.

Edited to add not your actual body weight but the weight of upholding your body.

Hi ladies.

I've been working out like a beast...I mean...from doing nothing to working out 4-5 days a week is pretty impressive for me. This week was very busy for me so I missed a day but made up for it on Friday by running mi 3 miles in di wee hours of the morning..then later on that day I walked an additional 6 miles that day. Well...it would seem as if I over exerted myself and my feet are swollen and in pain. I guess I have to take a break from the running til mi recuperate....

But di ting dat grieve mi more is that even though my eating patterns have not changed...am actually eating a lot less because I don't have time these days to snack...I have yet to see the pounds move from the near 10 lbs I shed since January. I still feel the burn from the workouts. What am I doing wrong? I don't want to have to go on rabbit food diet. Portion control has worked great for me and I don't feel deprived so that is why I have not gone off it.

you'd be surprised how much your caloric <span style="text-decoration: line-through">non</span>-consumption play a role in weight loss. also, what kind of workouts are you doing? is it mainly cardio or is a a mix of cardio and weight/muscle dev/resistance training?

i ask only because you all know that if i had my druthers, i'd run/bike/swim until God come. in late january i started doing crossfit (a resistance training program) and was stunned the other day to see that i'd dropped 6 pounds. while my diet hasnt changed dramatically, i have noticed that i've needed to eat more calorie dense food...nothing major but an extra serving of veggies/fruits, piece a chicken sometimes.

it isn't uncommon for a person to increase their workouts, not compensate for it with their caloric consumption and then be hurt when the scale doesn't move. it is a fine balance, but it is something you may need to consider.

I do some core exercises...at least once a week..but I do mostly cardio as well. According to mi program on Wednesday I supposed to do some CT activities...that's when I do my weights and core stuff...

skelly it could be that you take off the first 50 easy, but as u get closer to u goal weight u may have to be more disciplined as to what u eating (and drinking).

(watch her come back in a couple days and tell us that never change nutten and she drop 5 lbs )
