doing a 1.5 hr power walk tomorrow nite with a group in a hilly park (the one i'm run/walking on Apr. 7). i will not be allowed to participate if i dont bring at least 1litre of water

how mi fi carry dat on the walk? apart from sticking them in my pockets and adding to the weight mi haffi bear thru dem hills? mi plan fi buy 2 50ml bottles.

works ok. the darn ting keep riding up but is probably because right now i only using one bottle instead of 4...but it good to store my keys and ting that me use to wipe mi face wid all the blasted sweat.

the coach lady use a hand water ting

someting like that..it has a hand grip...

thanks, cb. i think the belt is probably the best option but putting something around my waist is just not turning me on right now. in fact, i bought a jacket today specifically for the purpose of hiding my mid-section.

the camel sound promising. i'll try sticking the bottles in my pocket tomorrow, and if it really dont work, will fiture out something else for next time.

The camelback....which i have the very one CB post above is VERY light and the weight is evenly distributed on your back, so you really dont feel it. I also dont have the boderation of having to &quot;handle&quot; it during your walk/run. You simply have to use the straw, which is station near your mouth. It also has a small pocket carry things like keys, phone, etc. they originally were marketed to hikers, but once the army, cyclists began using them...well....

Try it...you will it.

thanks for the insights ilpy. mi see wa di other walkers have tomorrow. we'll be having breaks thru out the walk, so i plan for now to use one a dem bag type back pack fi hold the water and keys, etc.

What do you think about one of these for walking, a mean just going on it and working up some sweat.....mrstormmey say a foolishness......when am ready just come with him on one of the trails up here with likkle stormmey in tow.....not gwine happen

i'm not cb, but i say go for the trails! treadmills get boring real fast. plus fresh air mek u feel better, and the trails wi give u a more thorough body workout, imo.

i have a treadmill..these days i prefer not to use it, but when the kids were younger and I couldn't just up and do my own thing, I used it frequently.

It's all in your &quot;lifestyle&quot; Stormmey. When I get home I am one person who is reluctant to go back outside especially if it is COLD.

So knowing that I am that kind of person a treadmill works for me. Very rarely do I have the &quot;urge&quot; to go outside and walk unless I am walking with the little one as she rides her bike. That's it. Nowadays treadmill can be programmed and adjust to mimic the outdoor hills and gullies .. .. an some dem reaaally fancy fi all a gi yuh scenery

i don't think trail running is for me either. Went with the group today and it was pure dodging of branch, tree roots, puddle, mud and stone. spend most of my time trying not to trip over nutten and bruck mi neck.

same so CB!! I went on one once after ten minutes I just turn back, mess up mi criss runners iiesi mrstormmey look at me like saying the runners are supposed to get messed up.....hell na!! dem supposed to jus look cute and criss
