yep. their stuff is expensive. i totally bought into that "mac" business a few years ago. then i decided i liked saving my money better. i just buy the l'oreal products now.

i think there prices are average..compared to say..Chanel [img]/forums/images/%%GRAEMLIN_URL%%/grin.gif[/img]

I have to say that their lip gloss on my lips was OMG to die forlordhelpeme [img]/forums/images/%%GRAEMLIN_URL%%/70377-loveeyes.gif[/img]

compared to the one that I purchased from revlon [img]/forums/images/%%GRAEMLIN_URL%%/rolleyes.gif[/img]

but there must be comparable drugstore products for shadows.

true. but my point is if I can get a comparable shadow in ingredients and feel for 8 as opposed to 30 why not ?

lips I dont mind paying more for and dang that lip color almost get mi inna one pieca trouble [img]/forums/images/%%GRAEMLIN_URL%%/70377-loveeyes.gif[/img] so that was worth it [img]/forums/images/%%GRAEMLIN_URL%%/70365-flirt.gif[/img]

i doan wear makeup too often so it would be wase a time and money fi mi buy dem expensive sitten deh. I roll wit Maybelline dream matte mousse and one cover girl powder. Dat way when dem get tuff an cakey an cyaan use, de 47 price tag naw go hurt mi feelings

I use the Mac face powder ( i have 2 - one fi mi summer color and 1 fi mi winter color) and ie noh cakey cakey pon mi yet doah.. and is a long time mi a use it pon a daily.

Mi buy one deggeh deggeh mac powder from mi senior yr in undergrad. That was wah, 4 years ago[img]/forums/images/%%GRAEMLIN_URL%%/70402-thinking.gif[/img] an all now it cyaan done. Juss siddung deh.

I hear yu..I also wear mascara and I've tried their's but neva really see the value in it...me prefa one a de drug store brands...cyan memba which one

when me use to wear face powda...me used to wear MAC..they have one that is a very mice match fe me skin tone...


what I like about MAC is they make make-up fe a wide range of skin tones an juss done...not like those adda companies who suddenly realised there was money to be made off women with darker skin tones (awfta dem neglect we fe yrs) and run gu come up with "special" make-up lines fe us [img]/forums/images/%%GRAEMLIN_URL%%/rolleyes.gif[/img] [img]/forums/images/%%GRAEMLIN_URL%%/70400-talktohand.gif[/img]

Arjen, yuh evah try Prescriptives ? they custom blend (fi donkey years now mi sure before mac too ) for all skin colors. they have nice oil free stuff which mi like, but choo mi nuh use foundation daily mi nuh too too study them.
