In these times, when some men don't care if their offspring have food in their bellies, it is good to know that some still care about how the child will be raised.

To answer your question:
I would hope that my man has family who would be there for our child if something were to happen to him....
To teach him how to deal with the system, but more importantly to teach him about his history, about his culture. If not his family, than our many friends of different colors can teach of their experiences in life. I think we should all strive to learn different cultures than our own.

Still, I feel we learn the most from our own life experiences .
You can only prepare a child so much, each life has it's own course and lessons.

Above all a child needs love!
If they are brought up with a strong loving foundation they can survive the hurdles life hands us all.
