i never understand the grill cheese thing yet. whats the diff between cutting off one hunk of cheese and putting it in warm coco bread or bun and takin 2 cheese slices an put it between 2 piece of slice bread an heat it in a pan?

the shock for me when me reach jamaica is not really what jamicans do but how awkward americans act. since i've been many different places since I'm small i never feel too uncomfortable in new places. but when mi see americans freak out when things aren't exactly how they are used to it i don't know whether to laugh or feel bad for dem.

i do get nervous when i see peeps refuse to wear seat belt and drink and drive

- the rathid treatment dogs get..(dogs are like real people ??)
- the large amount a smokers.. especially kids/teen..
- the cost a beers/alchol
- the high cost of livin / taxes
- homeless people in the city
- how poor people really were, but lived a false life off credit.
- the fact that people are described first by their color or race.. (in jamaica we'd say "the big lip one" or "di one whey head fava wharf dog".. here is "the black guy" or the "chineese guy"

How de people especially pedestrians do not meet you with eye contact. Everybody is an island unto themselves, except BND1999 of course, who meets everyone heads on no matter who you may be.

go one reggae club and me couldnt find a single weed-free-zone. not one. everybaddy tink say dem a rep jamaica by smoking nuff and me tink mos a dem lef jamaica before dem yeye deh a dem knee, or dem parents a jamaicans or dem jus wannabee, caw when u go concert/stageshow inna jamaica a only a few inna di crowd a smoke weed. only likkle bit or none at all.

anedda kulcha shock was the jamaica flag or black green and gold colours seen hung inside cars supposedly driven by Jamaicans in Uncle Sam country....moreso than even those in Jamaica country.
