I read today that Nigerian President Olusegun Obasanjo (and others) helped the gov't of Sudan and the biggest Darfur rebel faction (the Sudan Liberation Army) sign a peace deal Friday.
I know there have been MANY, MANY such deals signed, but we can only remain hopeful that something positive will come out of it.
