I stayed clear of this thread at first because of the title, but then today I saw how both threads you posted had blown up and I thought I must be missing sumpin good.

I'm glad Jane didn't really sleep with him because he could have then infected THOUSANDS of other tourists. Big up for how you twisted the story.

I didn't get to vote on the story, but I'm glad censorship didn't win. I was a little offended at first - not at you - but at every guy who has told me the exact same hooey. I've never let myself be gigaho-ed but the lines you posted are authentic because I have heard many of them.

I hope this thread is archived and I hope ladies in DareK get the opportunity to read it and ask themselves, "Does this sound familiar at all?" Not to hurt anyone's feelings or burst any bubbles, but to hopefully enlighten someone who doesn't know. I don't blame tourists for falling for traps. Some people are more trusting and unjaded. Trusting is a beautiful thing which I so dearly miss. Instead of us calling the victims stupid, maybe uninformed or inexperienced may be better.

Tigrr, you hit spot on what I was trying to do by writing this...I read so many scenarios, so many Dear K threads and they all follow the same lines, every woman being played thinks she somehow is smarter than the rest, her guy despite what everyone else thinks is the one 'good egg' among the bad....I didn't write this for the fun of it, but even as I wrote each espisode, let you decide what could happen....I didn't have the heart to 'kill' him off in the end, but one has to think, how many people WOULD have....in fact i saw a post, Britisha's I think, where she says something like this happened in real life, it made my blood run cold....very well to lose your heart and your money, but you could end up losing your life too, and that's not fantasy....I wish anyone well at the chance of true love, but chances are you aren't going to find him lying on the beach in Negril or Ochi, what you may find you might not have bargained for....If this work of fiction makes one person wiser, then I think it has achieves its purpose...I don't think writing should be just for the sake of it, a message or a moral should be contained and I hope the people who needed a wake up call have got it....I would love to see your stuff Tigrr........

Tameka the ending was 'boss' as they say in my home town of Liverpool UK. I printed it out daily and its been read here to lots of laughter but also created some real serious discussion. I'd like to print it out again into a kinda of book form for my Internet Cafe Library ... is that OK with you or not ????? I also have a small collection of women's stories and poems which we have often talked about reproducing.. could we include yours if we did ???
