I'm still doing my cardio workouts, and I can definately feel the difference. Weightloss is slow due to my metabolism issues, but the scale is moving slowly to the left. [img]/forums/images/graemlins/laugh.gif[/img]

I know I have a long road to travel, but I am going to sick with it. THanks for the follow-up.

Calisthenic are exercises that are done against the body's resistance without the need of using weights. Push-up is a calisthenic exercise, since you're using your upper body as weight resistance. Pull-up is calisthenics, again, your own body weight is used as for resistance.

The calisthenics I do are variety of pushups and pull-ups for upper body (arms, shoulder, triceps backs) and lower body weight resistance exercises .. such as a one legged squat without hand held weights.

My muay thai instructor introduced me to calisthenics and recommended that I do it instead of using strictly hand held or weight machines for weight training.

My cut back on certain food (like di bread) is going well BUT now I am getting home so late from work .. I can't fit in my excercise like wan time [img]/forums/images/graemlins/frown.gif[/img] ..that sucks because I was getting in a routine..[/qb]

I'm the same way too with weight training ever since I started 3yrs ago. I'll swim, ride the bicycle and do everything else but I have to find the 40 mins for weights.

So where's Jedi, since a guy on the street told her not to jog with light hand held weights else it big up her neck, I've not heard a word from her. lol!
