I am not sure if it is all in my mind, but for some reason, most of the females I know that seem to have it all together - so to speak - are non-christians. For the most part they are very confident/self-assured, have clearly defined goals with practical plans to accomplish those goals, and thier perspective on life is simply rather refreshing.
I often compare that with some Christian females who seem to have a "leave everything in God's hand" approach that suggests an abdication of responsibility for doing their part in the accomplishment of any goals and objectives. It reminds me of Luke 16:8b: "...for the children of this world are in their generation wiser than the children of light."
Is it possible that such a perception may be the reason some Christian females seem not to attract the "right" types? In a casual conversation with some other Christain guys, it was interesting to see how many were attracted to a non-christian female (though they had no intentions of dating them). Is it possible that the laid-back approach (to even approaching a guy they are interested in) and seeming indifference is a major turn off? Just curious as to what others thought.
