Thanks Mrs Ochigal I train with my son's cross country team. I can't keep up with them but it keeps me moving and mi long skinny legs help. I love to run.

so that same day that I did the stride analysis I decided to do intervals (while I was waiting for them to set up the camera)..

my glutes are killing me ..mi still mash up

Today I have a long run. I am going to do 7.5 miles. The trainer (whacko) wants me to add a .5 miles sprint in there, since I will be cutting back starting on Sunday. [img]/forums/images/%%GRAEMLIN_URL%%/70400-talktohand.gif[/img] How a person is supposed to sprint during the course of 7.5 miles, I have no idea. [img]/forums/images/%%GRAEMLIN_URL%%/rolleyes.gif[/img]

Hey guys, quick question? Sprints and surges, are they the same? I cant seem to find anything online.

you guys are an inspiration for sure. I went hiking this weekend for the first time in 3 years. I'm so out of shape it's disgusting. I thought I was going to die after just 45 minutes. Seeing all of you doing all of this...gives me hope that maybe someday...I can get back to being in somewhat shape at least.

Hiking... now that's something I'd love to do but can't find company to do it with and not much hiking places in these flat lands.

Runners!! I had to take a hiatus...a who go tell mi fi go run day after a marathon??? Mi sey mi did have body come dung DWL! Mi still feel mash up but getting back in the groove of running. I need some good running music though...the African Djembe drum beats I listen to are no longer holding my attention. Mi waan some fast jumping, arm pumping, gyrating music.

Thank you all for your kind thoughts for my mother. She is on the recovery zone...it is slow and painful for her but she'll be okay.

sprint and surges...I've heard of that used for running, cycling and roller blading. I assume it is speed and acceleration...dunno.
