Short run today... 5K or 3.2 miles.
I rode this afternoon also, so I didnt want to push it.

Well after my relaxing long weekend this morning was a struggle to get into work mode.

Felt so tired and fedup that I just couldn't force myself to join the running club and do some track work this evening, so I had a large slab of chocolate [img]/forums/images/%%GRAEMLIN_URL%%/baby.gif[/img] and am going to have my dinner and veg out in front of the tv [img]/forums/images/%%GRAEMLIN_URL%%/70371-jump.gif[/img]

I'll get out there tomorrow lunch-time for sure.

Alright...run bag is packed and in the car...sunny warm and 72F today...so I am ready. I know I will feel frustrated because its gonna be tough. But I ready...I WANT to run...so thats a good sign.

first two miles were good...knees felt a bit stiff...but not painful...my stamina was down...but I pushed and eventually hit the groove after mile 1. At the mile 2 mark...the pain hit...made it a few more strides and I could tell...it wasnt going to go away. So I walked it back in.

Sigh...I almost think that it has something to do with my stride because it only causes pain on random impacts...not every single landing of the foot hurts. I wonder if I am putting preasure on my knee with some bad foot placement or pronation (over or under)

Who was it that had a gait/stride analysys done. Wonder where I can have one done around here. Yesterday made me realize how bad I want to run...just got to get the body to cooperate.

I got my stride tests done at These people, however, I dont know if this is near you. It was free (at least the one near me is). You just bring your old shoes and they give you a print out and everything. I understand that you should have stride/gait tests done every 3-5 years or so, as things change (with our body's).
