What do you guys wear and what do you like/dislike about them.

i used to wear nike and brooks, but because you have to change your runners every like 500 km or so, i buy ones called american sport for $20 from the flea market in jane and finch. they are a rip off of the nike shocks and i have no complaint. they have the flexible tip and the breather panel. and they come in great colours. i'm using a red pair right now. goes with my red running jacket.
Reebok DMX Foam. They are comfortable but very worn down. I paid probably around $50 last year. We have no specialty store where I can get running shoes...
Sandi do you have a Dick's Sporting Good or Sports Authority near you? I find that you get a better selection than say the mall. Both places have online stores as well. I have found once I have a shoe that I like by Asics, then I clean out both of those stores (online). I then never have really worn down shoes.
ilv...just spoke to my sister and she said Asics and another online store called Sacony(sp?). She said Asics is the best even though more expensive. Right now I'm browing Asics and they do have a selection --- shoes for pronators...my feet tend to pronate.

Way to go ILP....I wish I could say my 6 was easy...I hit mile 4 and I was in the groove...actually was ahead of hubby for a while...and then mile 5 hit and the knees started talking to each other and they decided that they had had enough...made it to about the last 3/10's of a mile and had to walk it in...
