From the earliest days of this website, Marcia was one of the members who sent me encouraging emails when I sometimes took a stand that seemed "unpopular". I reciprocatd when she was catching heat too. More than that, though, was the sense of her honour and integrity, her warmth and good humor, and her abiding sense of fairness.
I am lucky to have known her and I will miss her greatly. It's a sad day for us all. My condolences to her family, her brother Noel, and to the JA.com family she loved so long and so well.

I offer my deepest sympathies to Marica's family, all the board members who new her personally and via the board. She was an absolutely lovely woman inside and out. I know she will be missed because I felt her genuiness through the board, even though I never personally met her.

Marcia Rest in eternal peace within the comforting arms of our loving creator.

Everyone has so eloquently paid tribute to Marcia that I don't know what to say that have not already been said, but then that is a good thing because it shows just how much she has touched so many lives. I don't post a lot on the board so I have never interacted with Marcia on a personal basis, however she is someone I have great respect for just because of the way she carried herself and her character that came through her posts. I never thought that the passing of someone who you have never met or even spoken to could have such a profound effect. I really feel like I lost a friend, on second thought I am sure I did.

May you rest in peace Marcia/Ackeegirl. My prayers are with your family.

The joys of meeting repays the pain of parting, else who can bear it.

Marcia and Ja.Com were inseparable and will be as she will live on in our memories, we cherish the opportunity to have been a part of her life.

While I helped out on the board I worked more closely with Maciek Sienna and Xman but did come to know Marcia and she was always ther when ya needed her.Jah guide Marcia

Wow, My eyes are filled with tears after reading all the wonderful things everyone here has to say about Marcia. I never had a chance to interact with her directly but I saw the work she did on the board.

She truly was an angel sent from above who touched more people than she will ever know. Her legacy will live on in our hearts and our memories of her will offer some sort of solace from the tears.

I would like to take this time to give my heartfelt condolences to her family. You are all in my thoughts and prayers. Let the memories you have keep her spirit alive in your lives and keep you going till you meet again.

Marcia shall be missed but we are eternally grateful that we were blessed to have had this time with her.

The lord giveth and the Lord taketh away, blessed be his name forever more.

the first time I got a PM from Marcia me start wonda wah me do...... she had asked me to become a moderator and I gladly accepted..... I made sure after that never ever to get the raised eyebrows....... Ackeegirl one of me favorite board personalites , I grew to have a lot of admiration for her especially the way she would manage to smile and keep positive vibes during hard times...... Marcia/ AG you have left your footprints in so many of us hearts and thoughts and that I will always cherish......

It has been over a month since I've been to the boards....

Marcia was part of the foundation of this board. It is obvious how much she is missed...it's just unbelievable....

My deepest sorrow and sympathy go out to her friends and family. KNOW that she made a LOT of people happy and that no one will ever be able to replace her.
