Re: To get Fit and lose the unwanted Fat ..
Compry, your PA is correct.
The BMI cannot tell the difference between fat and muscle mass. Neither can it tell the age group of an individual.

According to my personal trainer, this chart does not take muscle mass into consideration. Does anyone have information to prove otherwise?[/qb]

I have your problem of sorts,it is more like aquaintances usually express surprise that I seem much bigger in scrubs (shirt) than with my coat.

The weight range between 25 and 45 is not really ideal, but it is more or less adjusted to compensate for projected changes due to metabolic inefficiencies, but this can be postponed and in some cases averted. so if you are at the under 25 weight range at 45 and is healthy it is considered a plus.
