I've touched on bits and pieces of this over the yeara I have been on this site. You went further indepth than I ever did because I know it would caused raised eyebrows but moreso, I did not want to bore the masses who at that time I did not feel would care for this. The audience might be different nowadays but press on with what you have to say please. I share pretty much the same views.

Very interesting... really.

I'm wondering where the gods are though? It seems that these Elohim may well have been just a highly developed technological society? Human beings. It's a theory that makes sense to me.

Just imagine that our world civilization advances another 500 years... would not we want to spread our genes to other places... just like we spread around the planet?

Actually, this is my second time posting this message within the past year myself. I titled the topic "The Elohim". As far as being concerned with the masses not wanting to hear/read this, it's no different than someone knocking on your door Saturday morning, telling you you're going to burn in Hell for this or for that... They have their methods, I have mine I appreciate that fact that you have an open enough mind that is willing to research and listen to alternate reasoning in regards to our existence and purpose, versus sitting mindlessly in a group while you are unconciously brainwashed and made to feel guiltyfor every little thought you have or thing you do.

For the record I will say that not all that Kimoni posted I can digest per se, however, I do know for sure that the way the story has been told, much has been left unsaid or simply edited out of the picture.

In the 1800s a certain German decided he was going to go to Turkey/Ancient Asia minor and dig right where it was said the ancient mythical city of Troy existed. Of course the Trojan War was said to be pure myth and fatasy. Well guess what? He found Troy and set ablaze a European desire to seek out other so-called "mythical" civilizations. One such civilization that was dug up was the Sumerian civilization that predated the Bible by aeons. What was really odd about the Sumerians was that their culture popped up on the world scene already intact and highly advanced with no sign of any upward evolution. What was even more interesting and threatening to the religious establishments were some of their stories that greatly resembled the early parts of Genesis yet the writers of Genesis and the compilation thereof came well AFTER these Sumerians. In fact, the father of the Hebrew nation was born in an ancient Sumerian city, Ur.

Well that could easily be explained of course. Scandalize every and anyone outside the realm of Judaism and Christianity as pagans and idol worshipping heathens intoxicated on wild exaggerations about gods and simply ignore everything and anything they had to say because they are of the devil. If only it was true and that easy.

It is readily evident that there are established institutions in this world that have some things to hide or suppress lest they lose their power over the masses and one is the church throughout the ages and Judaism in the past. The Jews carefully placed their god through an evolutionary process that in the end saw him triumph over all other gods to become the ONE and ONLY true God of the universe. These were the same people who earlier in their history acknowleged their god, Yahweh, as simply being one of many gods but during and after the Babylonian captivity emerged with the one and only true God which Christianity then borrowed.

One evidence of biblical editing by later Jewish editiors can be found in Deuteronomy 32:8. The OLDER Dead Sea Scrolls say one entirely different thing but the later Masoretic text which came some 900 years later and which the King James Version Bible is based upon says something else entirely different. Here is the contrast:

"When the Most High divided to the nations their inheritance, when he separated the sons of Adam, he set the bounds of the people according to the number of the children of Israel." (Deuteronomy 32:8 KJV)


The Dead Sea Scrolls does not say "Children of Israel." Instead it says "sons of God." What makes it even more bizzare from the Masoretic text and the King James version is that the nation of Israel was not even in existence when the dividing of the nations took place yet Israel is forced into the text to make it appear the Most High divided the nations according to Israel. More striking is the fact that the subsequent verse paints the Most High (El Elyon) as an entirely different entity from "the Lord" (Yahweh) who is depicted as being just another son of the Most High who is given Israel as an inheritance (his own people to govern). But to avoid the obvious dilemma of the Dead Sea Scrolls implying Yahweh and El Elyon are two different entities, the King James version presents some confusing babbling that has no coherence.

The full story is yet to be told.

Here is Deuteronomy 32:8-9 as read in the King James Version Bible which is based on the Masoretic text which was put together about 500 years AFTER Christ.

"When the most High divided to the nations their inheritance, when he separated the sons of Adam, he set the bounds of the people according to the number of the children of Israel. For the LORD's [Yahweh's] portion is his people; Jacob is the lot of his inheritance."

Here is the reading from the Dead Sea Scrolls which existed years, if not centries before Christ.

"When the Most High [El Elyon] gave to the nations their inheritance, when he separated the sons of men, he fixed the bounds of the peoples according to the number of the sons of God. For the LORD'S [Yahweh's] portion is his people, Jacob his allotted inheritance."

Note a few things:

1. Yahweh inherits Jacob (Israel). An inheritance is something left behind for or given to someone else. Also note that "Jacob" is 'alloted' to him, not necessarily "chosen" by him.

2. The 'children of Israel' is a forced term into the Masoretic text/King James version if one considers the fact that the nations were divided in Genesis chapter 10 into 70 nations (which ironically is the very same number of sons the Canaanite area God known as El was said to have had). The children of Israel did NOT exist at that time.

3. In the Old Testament, 'sons of God' almost always refer to angels or in the area's theology, divine beings that made up a surrounding council around a supreme God. These 'sons of God' are sometimes referred to as the gods (El-ohim).

I understand how what I presented can be difficult to digest in one sitting, I will not profess that all I have presented as absolute, it is just a presentation of what have researched and compiled over time and find comfort in having an alternate reality of history to believe in, versus the one sided story that has been presented to mankind up until this point. I definitely appreciate the additional information you presented. It validates the history of the Sumerians and their exposing of the Elohim. Who knows, maybe in time, with our combined diligence and willingness to keep an open mind, we can remove the mask of ignorance from the eyes of the masses.

To piggy back on your post. The Dead Sea Scrolls mention the Sons of God. The Sons of God (The Nephilim) are mentioned in Genesis 6:1, I wonder how many people are aware of who they really are and what they are responsible for in regards to human existence. I know some die hard Christian will simply say that they were angels, however, the truth of who they are/were is in the very doctrine many Christians abide by and have no idea of the mutation that took place centuries ago.
