still reading boundie...great story...

so did Big Red have to get himself out of your bed before the house awoke the next morning??? or more importantly before his mom got up?? its like being a kid again.. sneaking..

I am not sure how you held it all together so well when you were feeling so rotten... nothing worse than being sick and away from your own bed and comfortable surroundings...

you seemed to make the best of it.. and apparently did very well for Grandma to utter those kind words.... i am happy for you

I look at the digital clock on the wall and realize it is about 1 a.m. and I had only been asleep for a couple of hours.

I feel Big Red climb into the bed behind me. He puts his arms around me and pulls me close to him. We are in the spoon position and he moves my hair out of my face and tucks it behind my ear.

"Boundie?" "You awake?" I sigh deeply at the comfort of being wrapped in his arms, the first time for the entire trip that we have been in the same bed together, and reply that "yes, I am awake." Big Red goes on to tell me that he couldn't imagine this trip without me, he is so happy to be there with me, he loves seeing me fit in with his family, that he is so excited about our future together and future trips to Jamaica together... he was making my insides melt with all the kind words he was saying and I loved being wrapped in his arms. :love: I told him I was having the best trip to Jamaica that I had ever had. I loved meeting his family and watching him interact with them. It was so nice to see where he came from and see where many of his mannerisms were learned. I loved being in Jamaica with Big Red. Big Red and I have known each other for over two years and been romantically involved for about 8 months. It truly is the best relationship I have ever been in and I wanted him to know it.

I tried to stiffle my cough b/c I didn't want anything to interrupt that moment, but I couldn't do it. It just came bursting out of me and Big Red just held me tightly and rubbed my back. He laid there with me and I fell back asleep wrapped in his arms. It felt wonderful and I didn't even have a thought about what his mother might think if she found out. I loved this man and I didn't care if his mom caught us. It was wonderful to be wrapped in his arms having him pull my hair out of my face and rub my back.

Around 4 a.m. I awake again to another type of rubbing, and b/c this is a G- rated BB I will leave the rest to your imagination [img]/forums/images/graemlins/wink.gif[/img]

An hour later the two of us are wide awake and laying in bed laughing. We could not figure out why in the world we were awake that early and not only that why we were so awake? I mean, I felt awful and should have been asleep but I wasn't... I was wide awake. Big Red turns on the TV and we lay there watching TVJ. Our stomaches are rumbling and we wonder how much longer we will have to wait before we can go make some breakfast? I had hardly eaten a thing the day before and had a voracious appetite. I was contemplating eating the pillow, but decided that would be the ultimate insulte to Mrs. Red. I mean, I wouldn't eat her home cooking but I would eat a pillow... doesn't make a very good impression. [img]/forums/images/graemlins/704555_dwl.gif[/img]

The day after Chritmas

Around 7 a.m. we get out of bed and head to the kitchen. On the way to the Kitchen we wake up Stretch and get him in the Kitchen with us. The three of us were going to make some breakfast. But then it hit me again like a ton of concrete. Everything had settled in my chest again while I was laying down and once I got up and moved around... it was terrible. I was coughing and it was so dry and deep I sounded like a fog horn. Big Red promplty set me up on the couch and mademe a cup of tea. As far as he was concerned I wasn't to lift a finger.

Just as I got settled on the couch with my tea Mrs. Red wakes up and joins the commotion in the kitchen. She wonders what in the world we were doing up so early and I know she knows Big Red and I were in the same bed. [img]/forums/images/graemlins/blush.gif[/img]

She comes over and joins me on the couch and says "How ya doin, kid?" I tell her that I am fine, but even I can hear how weak my voice is. She doesn't believe me and I know it. I immediatly feel the tears well up in my eyes, I felt terrible and just wanted to cry. I was struggling to maintain and not loose it right there on the sofa. I managed to pull it together just as Stretch joined me on the other side of the sofa. He grabs my toe and asks what is wrong? I tell him I am fine just have a cough and his advice to me is this: "When yuh get to Negril lata today... mek Big Red dunk yuh inna di sea wata..." I just smile at my country friends remedy as breakfast is put on the table.
