Do you ever suffer from nostalgia or succumb to tears whenever you think back on your life in Jamaica? TOO often

Why? Because I miss the type of life we had there and I miss my friends there...I wish my son could grow up with more exposure to that life.

Aside from the food, what do you like the most about Jamaica (vibes, people, etc.) Who said me love the food [img]/forums/images/graemlins/confused.gif[/img] [img]/forums/images/graemlins/704555_dwl.gif[/img] ...Its hard to explain...its just "yard"...ya know, the simplicity, the inner peace that it gives you when your there.

Oh...there are soooo many, Probably have to say Mango, just cause I could eat them all day every day...but when I was pregnant...my only craving was for guinep...and I ate my fair share...good thing that my pregnancy coincided with guinep season. I have never been to St. Mary but I do plan on checking those places out. I am from Trelawny and we have some beautiful hillside there.

I had a friend who would eat june plum that way...never cared much for the fruit even though we had a tree in the yard.

Depending on how old she is (me cyant memba wha ya tell me yestiday) she probably wants to be able to help you cook but doesnt know how. I know my son, if he rolls out one lumpy looking dumpling on Sunday morning...he always "claims" he helped cook breakfast... Now...if she is older and perfectly capable of helping, but took the lazy option and didnt help but claimed to..then she told a lie and should probably have a minor punishment like being restricted from something she likes for a day or two. The lie was little and not one that was harmfull...so I dont think severe punishment is warranted in this case.

YIKES, I would tell her that if HE loves her...he wouldnt pressure her. I would tell her that her body is a temple and she needs to respect it. I would discuss with her the implications of "going all the way"...STD's and pregnancy...And remind her that there is a HUGE maturity difference between and 20 year old and a 15 year old....THEN I WOULD GO TALK TO THIS 20 YEAR OLD and tell him he is SICK to be with a 15 year old. That if he really loves her....he needs to back off and wait till she is old enough to know what LOVE really is. [img]/forums/images/graemlins/mad.gif[/img]
