I am trying to cut down on my carbs, so sadly I dont cook rice as often. Kyle could live off rice...we will eat anything as long as there is rice with it.

5. Would you consider going to church with Kyle this Sunday? maybe...

6. Did you participate in the phone-a-thon? A little bit, I talked to 2 or 3 people this week, 4 last week...still have two people to call either this evening or on the weekend...

congrats, Ochigal. i've long admired your spirit on the board. Couple questions:

1. what characteristics of his father do you see in your son? what are some of your ways that you see in your son?

2. were you bothered by class/colour divisions in Jamaica when you lived there?

3. how do you get to practice patwa in your daily life?

4. what kind of PR do you do?

5. do you think your unwillingness to marry your special friend may be partly because you don't love him deeply enough to risk giving up your independence? can or should a woman ever risk giving up her independence for love?

gosh...there are so many...most recent was watching my son play one of his basketball games and see his level of sportmanship, as well as pride in how he did. There was a glow around him that made my heart burst with pride.

Actually, I AM a famous person...remember Ochigal is just my moniker...I actually am VERY famous

I admire Oprah, I think she has gone on to do wonderful things for people as well as doing well for herself. She overcame the odds of her surroundings and took control of her life...I have to admire her.

Well that would depend on where it was...if it was an area I wanted to live in...and it was bigger than the one I have now...I would move into it and rent the one I have out. If I didnt want to live there...I would either rent it out, or sell it depending on the market

5 I think

8. What's your ideal pet. why?
At this point in my life...that would be a fish...I am on the go too much to be able to have a pet that requires a whole lot of daily attention. We have cats right now and I am trying to find them homes...

9. How often do you bake?
not often...I dont like to bake..I would say maybe 4-5 times a year.

10. Would you want to be featured on 'Trading Places'. As usual, reason for your answer.
I LOVE THAT SHOW...Yes, I would be on it...just wouldnt want the short fat bald white guy to be my designer....he does some weird stuff...My house is very colorfull already...theres not to much they could do that would be shocking.

Nah...actually it would be "show-offy Know it all" people, they really bug me.

13. How do you diffuse arguments at home? Well since its just Kyle and I, there arent ALOT of arguements...but when we do have one...If it gets to a point where there is no agreement...I remove one of the participants to his room. A five minute "break" for him can work wonders...he usually will come out with his head hung low and appologize and see things "My Way"

14. What's the most effective method of punishment you've used or are likely to use?
Restriction from certain privileges or events works wonders for me. For example if I get a bad report from his teacher its once week without the x-box, and any bad reports DURING the restrictions adds another WEEK onto the restriction. So far it works...Its only happened once...and since then he has been teachers angel... [img]/forums/images/graemlins/laugh.gif[/img]

10-12, Kyle at 6 months, kyle at 2 years, Kyle at 3, Kyle at 4....Oh yeah one of my god daughter, one of an old boyfriend and HIS son, one of my mom...thats it

Right now I am a bit of a reality TV freak ...dont watch alot of comedies anymore

17. What's the last movie you went to see? Did you like it? Yeah or nay and why. Took Kyle to see 'Catch that kid"...it was dumb, but had a nice warm "family style" ending...so I guess it was OK

I couldnt do it....its not the cats fault...I would try to find another way...I may not be a huge animal LOVER...but I dont want them to suffer.

it would depend on the level of attraction I had felt prior to the meeting and how well I knew his personality. I can overlook certain "Appearances" if the chemistry is strong enough..but...depending on how I was feeling...I might just sneak out too...

Yes, once I saw it...it took a while for me to be able to see it first hand...but the family I worked for was a rich white Jamaican family from Kingston...I became more exposed after I had worked for them for some years...I do have to say I see more of a "Class" division than I do a "Colour" division.

No..its because he really does drive me crazy sometimes...fundementally we are VERY different in our life styles and ways of dealing with things...I just know it would never work...both to old to change now. I have to admit that in the last couple weeks I have lost alot of respect for him...I do still love him, but there are some issues that I cant accept.
