Every woman should get married or at least wear a wedding dress. REason for that. Those dresses can create miracles. I saw a figure this past week that I am sure came with the dress and not mine.
I am quite happy, I went for the second fitting and everything looks great. I must say that I am much calmer now than before. I have succeeded in not having him wear a blue suit but he wont wear a white tux [img]/forums/images/graemlins/frown.gif[/img]
We will NOT have a stretch hummer (imagine dat deh sinting a try crass ova Howard Cooke Highway.
a simple regila limo is fine.
We are NOT marching into the reception to R. Kelly's step. Yes ladies this is a suggestion he made that almost cost him his life.
The wedding is a few weeks away and I must say thanks to you guys I have found my shoes
Susanna [img]/forums/images/graemlins/smile.gif[/img] and had a relaxing day at the spa, massage and all.
I have enrolled with a personal Trainer he is a white guy from South Africa by the name of Faan and is such an anti-capitalist that we get along great.
He has me boxing and doing ciruit training to ease my stress. Apparently if you get angry and flustered when you are stressed then to maintian a balance you have to do high impact exercises.
If you tend to mope then to maintain your balance you should do yoga or breathing exercises. It is working and I feel great.
Ok so new dilema. My hair. I waited too long to put in highlights so now it is too late and I don't knwo what to do with it.
Also, why are the darn tiaras so expensive?
I am more relaxed but honestly I can't wait to get it over and done with. I want to relax the next day on the beach and sleep.Comment

Marie…I’ve been hangin in there with you girl. Loving every minute of it. I know all this planning, preparation and decision making is stressful, but you make it sound like fun the way you tell it. Added with the different comments, this is a good read.

see how long it took me to write the next installment. Girl, I developed chronic heart problems when he mentioned R. Kelly. at least that was a bit better than the new Usher song.
Jeezas have mercy.
I asked him if he listened to the words his response was "den baby dat nuh necessary, di riddim bad and we can slow dawnce to it man cho".
I prompty informed him that he will be slowdancing with the devil or jesus depending on the status of his relationship with the almighty one.Comment

MarieK - I have been reading and loving every second of this - this is the best wedding diary I have ever read... and your sense of humor just kills me...

and the countdown begins.
Today is June 1 which means that I am no longer months away I am just weeks away from the wedding.
I've found a Tiara ($90 [img]/forums/images/graemlins/mad.gif[/img] ) and a veil (175 [img]/forums/images/graemlins/mad.gif[/img] [img]/forums/images/graemlins/mad.gif[/img] )
Explain dis, why is it yuh haffi pay soh much fi di frack and di shoes and tun roun haffi pay again soh much money fi piece a clothe weh go crass yuh head.
I was gonna go sans veil but nooooooooooo Mommy say "baby yuh haffi have ie ) *wait till afta di wedd'n a gwine tek awf di veil and sell it baxide pan ebay.
Mi nah lie though, it is the most beautiful veil I've ever seen. I am in love with it but not 150 worth of love.
Oh wait deh, mek mi tell unu bout di groom ring.
I went to the store two weeks ago and purchased the ring. We (maid of honor and mi) decided to have the ring sized. The jeweler told us to pick up the ring the next Wednesday. I picked up the ring and they cleaned it so it looked absolutely gorgeous. I put his ring on my finger to look at it's beauty [img]/forums/images/graemlins/blush.gif[/img] when it slipped off my finger. Lord have mercy, the gas prices weren't as high as my blood pressure. I spent the next few hours searching for the ring. See I didn't even feel it slip off and I was doing work in the yard and around the house. I dug up the garden. checked every crevice and corner.
I called my mom panicking and Deb (maid of honor) I got so upset and hyperventilating so much I decided to take a cool shower to calm down to stop crying. I stepped into the tub pulled off my top and unhooked my bra and what fell out from between the twins.......... di ring [img]/forums/images/graemlins/frown.gif[/img] I've never given God thanks for my boobies the way I did that day.
Anyway that was a funny moment.Comment

Remember when I said I was on top of things and things are going great............ scratch that.
Why did I wait till now to do the programs. The souveniers aren't done. BTW if mi feed di peeple dem why mi haffi gi dem souvenier.
I didn't want the souveniers to be something they'd stash away so we decided to go with cd's. We have yet to decide on the songs so I went to Moodie's records and met with a guy there.
Well judging from his demeanor and let me tell u it was a nice demeanor [img]/forums/images/graemlins/tongue.gif[/img] I trusted his judgement and told him to come up with something. Hopefully it will be ready by the time I leave.
If, in a few weeks you hear that there is a commotion at Sangster International Airport it will be because dat crusty face gyal who fa line mi always inna a go want fi charge mi fi di cd dem.
Can u beleive it, last time I bought new clothes to wear when I was there and gyal want fi charge mi fi dem mi juss cuss har awf and tell har seh afta mi wear dem she can wash dem and mi will pay har but dat is di ongle way she a go mek money awfa mi clothes.
Dem did all want if chawge mi fi mi travel iron. a wah rang wid dem dowe eeeh.
bout seh mi nuh suppose fi inna di nuttn fi declare line. wah mi fi inna declare line fah?
