Lawd mi stress.

Ok remember all those weeks when I said everythign is fine and I am not stressed. Scratch that. Don't know why I am stressed because everything is on point I guess the nervousness is beginning to set in.

I am miserable and crabby. I am snapping at everyone and things are not as perfect as I want them to be and I am wondering if the entire world has lost it's mind in terms of my wedding plans.

Why do people keep asking me stupid questions and why the hell is a tiara so darn expensive. I mean my goodness.

Oh yes, and why is it necessary to have 400 different types of veils and who the heck gets married in green.

I hate shoe stores and I hate jewelry stores. Heck I am even beginnign to wonder if T did this to me (the proposal) to get under my skin [img]/forums/images/graemlins/mad.gif[/img]

My face is breaking out and I am thinking of suing that damn Noxema company because it worked fine for 9 years but the year I decide to get married my face is all a mess.

I can't find a signature scent for the wedding because all the perfumes I liked I now dislike.

Nothing seems to be pleasurable in my sight right now and I had one last nerve, just one and he got on it last night.

I want orchids, lots of them, he says they are unnecessary. I told him his role is to spend the money soh leff mi an mi orchid dem alone cho man [img]/forums/images/graemlins/mad.gif[/img]

oh he put me on hold, can u imagine, he called me from JA and put me on hold soh mi hang up I mean that is money weh coulda go to mi wedd'n.

I hate my doctors. They don't understand I am getting married and now is not a good time to experiment with drugs.

I was diagnosed with PCOS and it can be corrected with birth control. I tried the patch for one month and nearly committed mass murder. that thing is hell.

I came off after gaining 12 lbs in 2 months *back to the ATkins cuz now the dress nuh fit*

Now for my skin and my PCOS he wants to put me on Yasmin. I dont' knwo who this Yasmin chick is and why they named a birth control pill after her but if I gain one more ounce I am going to beat the living crap out of her and the damn doctor.

Oh crap I am turning into Bridezilla aren't I.

Well from my last post you can figure out how on edge I was. Well, we had a bad weekend, no it wasn’t just bad it was awful. T and I argued over every single thing there was to argue about. I mean it would have been bloody if he was here.

Was it my fault? Yes. You see, all these weeks I have been saying how calm I am. Everyone was commending me and I felt great. Then sometime a week ago, I got up and reality hit me. I don’t know if it is because the bridal shop called to confirm my last three fittings and I am self conscious about my body. But that one phone call threw me into a spiral. He says I love you and I get upset. No matter what he is saying I can't calm down.

This weekend was soooooooooooo bad I thought it was the end. I was very pleased to hear, after leaving a class on Sunday, a voicemail from him saying he loves me and that he will make sure that planning the wedding would be the most stressful thing I’ve ever had to do. He said he understood why I was so miserable. That one phone call re-assured me that everything would be fine.

I am very excited now, but nervous. I ordered the cake boxes and the napkins because Mommy HAD to ABSOLUTELY have napkins with our names on them *damn woman yuh see *

Oh the latest request from mommy. She want to dance to Beres Song weh staat she “Could you give me a bit of your time, let me show you what’s here on my mind that I’m in love with u without control” She want fi dance ie wid mi daddy. But see yah. Them both know each other from she was 7 and he was about 19 soh mi nuh know how much inlove dem can be

My latest task. Finding a corset. Ok, I have learned that not only kinky brides (which I am not [img]/forums/images/graemlins/blush.gif[/img] ) wear corsets. It is mandatory. So yes ladies and gents. Marie is in search of a corset.

I have looked at the Fredericks of Hollywood catalog and am appalled to say the least because they have cut outs in their corsets for things I don't seem to have. I mean seriously. Their bridal section looks like a selection from a wardrobe of an adult movie star.

Apparently plain corsets don't exist anymore. I just need something that makes me comfortable while supporting my dress.

next issue, shoes. T is my height, well one inch taller than I am which means I can't wear those shoes portrayed in Frederics (I think I am getting obsessed with that store [img]/forums/images/graemlins/laugh.gif[/img] ), I can't seem to find any pretty bridal shoes to wear that doesn't have a high heel.

That man of yours sounds great, and he really knows and supports you, try to hold onto that. I know it's hard when you're apart, but you call him as much as you want, and damn the cost, he's there for you.

I know how you feel about your grandma. My neice and nephew couldn't come to my wedding, I was sad about that. So I brought a framed picture of them, which I had in the room where I dressed. I kept them with me that way. It helped a little bit.

So, I have finally found the bustier thingy. Odd enough I found it in a store called Lolita's Lingerie [img]/forums/images/graemlins/tongue.gif[/img]ray:

It fit and I must say they minimise a lot of things I didn't know could be minimize and dem maximize the boobies, like dem need more maximizin

Soh hear this now. I called my uncles in St. Elizabeth and told them the news the day and the time.

Uncle Woody call and seh dat him nah build no suit until him get the invitation in the mail. But see yah o/

First of all why are they building a suit instead of making one and why do they need an invitation to get the suit ready. I mean they are coming.

I dont' get it.

He is a stickler about the height thing, so the search for shoes still continues.

My maid of honor is sooooooooo sweet, during last week which was officially declared to be "I hate T week" she managed to coordinate an appointment with a make up artist and he will make my face up and based on what we decide I will get a whole new set of makeup. *whooo hooooo*

Thanks to suggestions from board members, I have booked myself a day at the spa next week. I have ordered new products to help with my sudden breakout and am feeling much better than last week.

The groom is back on the "I love you" list

who knows what next week holds.

I need more napkins. I need more cake boxes, I need more time.

T and I are probably really stressed out right now, but we are trying to be patient but lord knows it is hard when the cake woman keeps stressing you and the catering hall wants you to make decisions. Mommy now decides orchids arent good enough for the church (I swear she and T conpsire against me).

I've got great news. I have been accepted into a program which will allow me to pursue and make up for lost time, my career in the justice system.

Also, the question of where we will live is coming up rather often. He has stated on more than one occasion that he wont live in New York and he'd rather I return home. I would love to return home but I have so much to do here first. Maybe in 5 years.

who was to take care of the DJ. HIm. Who did he think was gonna do it. Me. How did he arrive by it, well because I didn't put that in the list of things to do. I mean my goodness you would think that I would have to put on the list every striking thing from here till kingdom come about the wedding.

Ok things are fine, I am going to call the number I have for one (thanks Untwined).

Now get this, T thinks we should go deep sea diving in Negril the next day. I don't know what he is thinking cuz if no shark eva bite mi mi a go bax him.

I rolled my eyes and said yes. I will just pretend to be sick that day.

He has a long list of things to do too. Parasailing. Look yah, unless mi a go farrin mi nah go up pan wan piece a cloth wid two string suspending mi fram di air.

Den him want fi jet ski.. wance again, Jesus walked on the water not even him did a ski pan wata, so mi nuh know wah mek mi shoulda try it.

Three days before the wedding I am checking into a hotel and we are apart. Di bredda ask mi "when are we checking in" "we" who seh nutt'n bout we.

I am getting excited somewhat, not as nervous, but my girlfriend says all I have to do all day is smile. Just keep smiling, even when things go wrong, I need to smile.

I don't want things to go wrong. They better not or else I'm gonna beat someone down with my bouquet.
