You know, from what I've read and heard, it has numerous uses and is a cure-all...I started a thread about it a couple months ago when I first started taking it and got a few replies but not that many. The one I take smells like wine but it doesn't taste great, but then it is still tolerable. It says that you should take a tablespoon or two and mix it with fruit juice or water. I find that it tastes better with water...
I don't know if it cured me of anything but I noticed that I didn't need coffee to get me going in the mornings the way I usually do....
As for the colonix, I think I will start on the weekend as well....
As an aside to all starting the program this weekend, drink LOTS and LOTS of water - you should be consuming half your body weight in ounces. Thus if you weigh 140, you should be consuming at least 70 ounces of water (a lot, isn't it?). This is the really hard part for me b/c I have to say that as much as I love water, I don't love it that much.
Also, try to do the morning routine using hot/warm water (as much as you can bear the temperature). Just passing along tid bits that may be beneficial for anyone
No problem...forget to mention that a little exercise certainly may go a long way, anywayz.
I'm feeling so-so. Since I just started the second week today, I'm hoping to see at least some things from the testimonials. At first I was scared to see them, now I'm worried that I might not see them...go figure. I guess it's a part of alleviating my fears that the product is actually working. Anyway, happy cleaning , and I expect a full report on Monday of how things went over the weekend .
I feel gross. I started the Colonix Saturday, and since then, my skin has broken out in a rash and I have the runs. We were on our way to breakfast Sunday morning, and I didn't think I would make it to a restroom in time. But I did. I haven't seen anything strange yet, but then again, I don't eat meat so maybe I won't see anything too strange. I'm tired all the time, and sometimes a little dizzy and nausious.
I'm so sorry that you felt so bad. You are taking the correct dosage, right? 1/2 scoop fiber, 2 cap, steep tea 1-2 min for first 5 days? Maybe decreasing something might help?
For the first couple of days I felt a little energetic, but after that I began feeling slightly out of sorts. After the 7th or 8th day I decided to shorten the steeping time for the tea (since I was beyond 5 days, I was steeping for over 6 min). This made such a huge difference, in the out of sorts feeling. Can't say I see anything much else going on though. Saw some questionable stuff (indeterminate shape, etc.) but I'm still waiting to see whether I'll have the same results as everyone in the testimonials.
Hope you feel better soon, (((Nap))). If all else fails, contact them and see what they say.
I've used my teabag twice. I use any teabag twice. I'll steep, put it in the fridge, then use it the next day. Today, I'm feeling a little better. I'm not having many more bathroom emergencies b/c I haven't been eating much. Unless it's that time of the month, I don't usually eat much anyway, so I can't say this has affected my appetite. So far today, I've had a bowl of soup and a few crackers (and of course my glasses of water). I'll probably have a veggie sandwich later and that's it for the day. It's too hot to eat.
As yesterday progressed, I began to feel a lot better. Today, I feel better also. Maybe I just had to get used to the product. I still have a skin rash, though. Stocking up on Cortaid.
OK...my package is scheduled to be delivered today. I too am very scared of what I might see. Hopefully I won't feel too bad at the beginning. I am very excited to start this program. I will report my progress as well.
I'm glad you're feeling much better. I'm a little concerned about the rash though...
I'm still waiting for something big to happen. I don't eat meat either, and was wondering if maybe that was the reason. I've switched what I'm eating to soups and salads now, though. Just the thought of eating anything else, well, it really isn't that appealing at the moment. I had rice and vegetables and such last week, and it's like I could feel the food on my stomach. The soup/salad goes down a lot easier for me with the colonix. Truth be told, however, boy am I looking forward to the end of the first month.
Soup and Salad for me too. I made a huge 7-layer salad yesterday. Still eating it today. I also made a huge carrot cake yesterday. That will be my weakness.
Good news! Kia027 is purchasing her Colonix and will start soon. WELCOME to the cleansing thread, Kia and Jones411. I expect to see daily update postings soon!

Well, I started this morning so now the fun will begin. I take senna on a regular basis since I am always irregular so I am wondering how different this experience will be. I see that for first time users they recommend the 60-90 day plan...I only bought the 30 day just to see how it goes and towards the end will decide whether or not I need more. I am guessing that doing a 2 month program would be very beneficial, but 3 onths? YIKES!
BTW...what does everyone take their powder with each morning?
