I've been reading this thread and wondering if I should do some cleansing...but got turned off by the "worm" discussion....ewwwwwwww


anyway....for the past 2 days I have been feeling under the weather ..and have only been able to drink some water...so I guess I have been fasting...and thinking about all the junk I put in my body...and all the toxic stuff that's there....

like the box of twinkies I ate in 2 days....

Kia, daag girl. You think I could keep that buisiness to myself? I was so happy to read you were joining us, I just couldn't help myself. I want the whole world to know about our healthy lifestyle decisions. (And believe me, the first few days of taking the product and experiencing the "effects", the whole world will know.)

Oh Nappi, I was with you in the beginning...

I began taking the colonix (tea) on sunday night. Monday morning I "went". no big deal. Then I took the fiber & pills. I expected to maybe have one or two pleasant occurances throughout the day... but oh no! all throughout the day I had violent episodes in the bathroom at work...needless to say I haven't taken it since the fiber on Monday morning... maybe I ate too much??? Najah, how long are you steeping your tea? You may be steeping for too long. Since that second day, I haven't really had any bad bathroom experiences. Also, my skin is clearing up. I hope you stick with it. After all, you are the one who got me interested in the first place.

Hey Napi! Well so far so good. This is my second day, but my first morning after tea the night before. I had no cramping or running to the bathroom. I have been going lots though, which I think is great. I steeped my tea for 3 minutes last night even though it was my first night because I think I mentioned before, I am a frequent senna user so I was not very afraid of the mad bathroom dash issue. Not that I am a fan of it mind you, but I guess I would say that I am used to it so this is a much more pleasant experience.

I have mixed the powder with lemmonade in the morning and it is not too bad...I just gulp it down, but I am wondering about next week when I have to use a full scoop instead of half. Chunky!

I just dragged the bag in and out the water till it get nice and dark...

But I haven't taken it since then also I haven't felt the need to "go" since then either!

I skipped a day by intent (well it was with good reason)...it was just too harsh at that moment in time. But even so, tomorrow officially begins my 3rd, count 'em 3rd week!!! And I still haven't seen any ropes, etc. [img]/forums/images/graemlins/confused.gif[/img] I do have a two month supply and was thinking of actually going for three, but I also have an appt. to do the hydrotherapy in Sept., so I might only do 2 months. We'll see.

Boy, am I going more frequently. I'm only steeping the tea now for about 2-3 minutes. My max is probably 4 - 4 1/2.

Najah I can't believe you didn't continue. Hush though. My first couple of days were really harsh too. I mean a bathroom had to be right there - no waiting. That was really, well... Anyway, let us know if you decide to continue. I might try the noni thing too. When next I go to the city I'll pick some up. My father used to drink it, but I'm not sure what effects, if any, it had. Anyway, happy cleansing all!

Oh yes! I'd started looking into the whole hydrotherapy thing prior to ordering the product, so I felt really bad reneging on her and my appt. after all that. So I just might only do 2 months, then do the hydrotherapy and continue with a maintenance program each year, God willing. Actually, the therapist said that the hydrotherapy doesn't clean the small intestines (well not her procedure anyway, and she's the only one around my way), thus it's a good thing I'm doing the colonix, because some of the gunk would have already started easing its way out of the samll and into the large, making the process simpler. I read somewhere that the less gunk, the less room parasites have to fester in *shudder*.

OK...day three and everything is going fine. Still no cramping or mad dashing. I feel great. Last night due to my 20 month old distracting me I let my tea steep for who knows how long! I thought oh, no, tomorrow I will be IN for it. But no, everything went...or should I say came out smoothly with no feeling ir urgency or pains. Maybe I am a total freak!

Good morning,

Just checking to see how everyone's doing. Today is my first day back on the colonix. Iwas very careful this morning to measure exactly half the powder adn not to much as I may hae done the last time
I took it at 5am. Been drinking my water, but still no 'events' as of yet....
BTW, the powder doesn't taste as bad as I expected it to...

I've been taking a Colonix break (experiencing my womanly functions at present). I'll probably start again next week. I have noticed that I didn't cramp nearly as bad this month. I read that when your bowels aren't so full, you experience less cramping. So, I guess that the Colonix is good for something.
