I need this trip to Jamaica because I have not had a good night of sleep since July of 2006 and 2007 has been a rough year for me. [img]/forums/images/%%GRAEMLIN_URL%%/crazy.gif[/img] I highly doubt I will have a good night of sleep for the next 10 to 12 years. And although I went to Jamaica in the fall I still need another vacation from that vacation. [img]/forums/images/%%GRAEMLIN_URL%%/70394-bawlout.gif[/img]

Awright...me back. Nex ting...Da sea did rough....nuff nuff jelly fish did break up pon de reef and me get one BAD case a sea lice. Mek me tell you...my skin did ITCH!!! It Itch somethin feirce...it hawt lakka fiyah!!! Me did tink Blu was bex wid me it hawt so bad.

DEN...me neva pack nuff shoes. Me did enquire wid de one name LadyZ dung a de fashion forum and she tell me say dat all me did need was a pair a flip flops...WELL...Mek me tell you. De strap a me leff flip flop did break and all now me cyan get rid a de calous dat cause. Me right foot still soff and sweet and nice, BUT me leff foot...it dry an crack up like Wendy heal back. Dem a call me YAM foot roun a de neighborhood.

Odda dan dat...yaad still nice. Breeze still blow...crickets still chirp...birds still whistle inna de mornin and wake me up. Blue MOuntain coffee STILL a de bess in de WORL! And Reggae music...Nuh get me started pon de REGGAE. It sweet me ya see...An like how me live up here in SEAKKLE and nuh reggae deh bout...no reggae clubs...no reggae stations...no reggae bands...well we do have Clinton Ferron and de boogie Brown band...but afta one or two time...dat nuh fun again.

So...since me have me two front teeth...all me want for Christmas is likkle ackee, Guinep and REggae Music!

OH yeah...and maybe one new pair a flip flops.

Dear Santa.First let start off by saying that i am sorry for forgetting my brother at the store for 3 hours but in my defense i cant help it if i have so much stress on me that i just forget things.This has been the worst year of my life.i have had to go into ninja mode on my bill collectors so many times i stopped counting.This week has been really bad.I broke my finger trying to pick up a case of soda out of the backseat of my car,I got atacked by a giant roach that just came out of no where,my lights got cut off and i walked into a wall and busted my lip,And to top it all off i triped over my foot(yes i triped over my own foot)and fell face first into the carpet chiped my front tooth and got one mean carpet burn on my chin.So please please please give me a jamaica vacation for christmas.I promise to not forget any more family members at stores,schools or doctors offices agian.I swear. My hubby and I could neva mek it down to JA cause of the cheap kids we have. We have to pay for their tickets to spend Christmas with us every year. So this Christmas I came up with a plan.

Me: Hello Junior your dad and I are getting a divorce
Jr: What mom noooooooooo that cant be!!!!
Me: I am really tired and very confused right now please call and tell your sister what is going on.
Jr: Julie you would never believe what mom just told us.
Julie: What Jr. What????????
Jr: They are getting a divorce.
Julie: Hold on I am calling her now.
Me: Hello
Julie: Mom it's me and Jr on the line don't do a thing until we get home for Christmas this year.
Me: Christmas??? but's it's in two weeks I cant hang on that long
Julie: Mom you know that is the time of year we will all be together as a family we will be able to discuss the issues then.
Jr: Mom please do not do anything until we get there for Christmas promise.
Me: Well who is going to pay for your tickets.
Julie: Don't worry about that now get some rest we will be there right Jr?
Jr: Right mom we will don't worry about the tickets this year.

I hung up the phone and told my husband well looks like we might be able to go to Jamaica this summer the kids don't need us to pay for their tickets this year.

Hubby: What???? no way how come.
Me: Welll errr I sort of told them we were getting a divorce.

So Santa please don't punish me for lying if this works we will surely like to use the free hotel in Treasure beach. You think you can help us out?????????

Dear Santa:

This is a serious request for my husband rasta.b

He came farrin, in 2000 and has not been back to the rock since.
He works hard, outside construction and carpenter. He has ajusted to the harsh winter conditions, heavy steel toe boots, quilted overalls, hat and mitts.(Helly Hanson underwear has been a goodsend) He has his cornmeal porriage every morning, says his prayers (while doing stretches) then goes out into the elements to pour concrete etc. With a smile on his face, and a willing heart.

I will tell you 2 little stories of his winter work. His first yr in Canada, he worked outside in Saskatoon, SK. He had to learn how to walk on ice and snow, but also up high on scafold with north wind blowing.

1.It was so cold one winter, the heaters in the tarped building were barely keeping up. the white boys were bawling out that they had cold feet, and would come in take off their boots and warm their feet by the heater. At lunch time Rasta.b had a great idea to make grilled cheese sandwich. Lots of butter, foil paper, and put it on the propane heater, turn it once, and hot food! The crew thought that was a very good idea.

2. Another time, he was at work and something did not feel right under all his work clothes, he was wiggling around, and finally the metal coat hanger fell out the bottom of his parka. He and the crew had another huge laugh!

In 1999, his oldest daughter had a baby. We saw the baby once, when he was a wk old. Since then another grand baby has arrived.
He has had 2 close brothers die, from gunmen in Spanish Town in the last 2 years.
His youngest daughter is turning 11, and they have not seen each other in 9 years.

This winter we hope to get to Jamaica for a short visit.\
3 days at Button Beach would be perfect for us, and his 11 yr old daughter to get re aquanted with each other. AND see if she would be willing to come farrin with us to live......

I am very proud of my husband, as he has stayed and never strayed. A hard worker, that could really use, a likkle vacation.

To whom it may concern My name is Roxanne Bradford and Iam writing this letter today because I to would like to win a free tropical vacation; I think I deserve it because in the past I had two chances to win a free vacation; and I lost the chance because the friend that was suppose to go with me changed her mind on me at the last minute; and the rules of this vacation is that two people go; it was so weird that day we were in a hometown parade riding on a trolly car we were dressed for the parade and excited and waved at the people; but when my friend got her award and our free vacation she did not want to go it was a partial eclipse of the sun and the moon; she thought that it was bad luck or a bad omen to travel at all so we stayed at home; I lost a free vacation because once again several years ago there was an eclispe of the sun and moon on the day that we were suppose to travel to the tropical island of our free vacation; we helped a music group sing some of there old songs on stage and we were not as good as they were so we made them look good so we won a free vacation but we did not go because my friend thought it was bad luck to travel at least not for a month or so we lost the vacation because of the eclispe; for once I would like to go on a free vacation by myself or with some one who does not believe in bad luck; it is not everyday that a free vacation happens for a person; I hope there really is a Santa that can let me go on a much needed free vacation;all the other vacations I have to work for and I like tropical islands;so I hope to hear from Sant real so I did not know how to post on this web site so I wrote to the members that are already on here Iam a new member; and I hope the contest judges are reading this heart felt letter I hope to hear from you soon; on this web site or at [email protected] thank you.
