How about fighting to be free from the crippling effects of handouts. When the heck are we going to be able to stand on our own two feet? Equal ain't equal if you always need to be factored in as a statistic needing special handling.

So it's alright for Ms. Rice to benefit from "handouts" and then tell everyone else in the same situation as she was not to expect any help.

Now I was almost sure that this thread had originated because someone thought that Ms Rice was sexless, (a) because she is black and (b) because she is smart.

now I dont agree with her foreign policies, and yes, sometimes she behaves like one of those fat old white men in the US govt, but saying she is sexless seeminly because she is smart, black and female, shows that the writer is nothing short of an ***.

In her book The End Of Blackness‚ Debra Dickerson says: “National Security Advisor Condoleezza Rice epitomises the loveless, over-accomplished black woman home alone with her bulging resumé. No one wants her for anything except her mind.

The writer used this quote by a white woman as emphasis to support his point.
These statements by stupid white women can be the very reason why most black women do not like seeing them with black men. The arrogance they expouse along with thinking that they are somehow more sexual and sexy in the eyes of every race of men, to the exclusion of the female of his own race, is simply STUPID and I notice that the quote was simply being ignored by the respondents in the thread.


although the black male writer of the article seems to buy what she's selling until some black people no longer allow their minds to be controlled by the opinions of other people, they will forever feel inferior...

JamaicaDaye, I did in fact concur with RollinCalf (and now you) that discussions of Ms. Rice's sexuality and appearance are irrelevent, inappropriate, and disrespectful.

You're right and raise a very valid point here.

WRT policies, many respondents seem too busy disagreeing with each other to examine Rice's public and foreign policy even superficially. It's a pity.

Because her public and foreign policies were not the topic of this thread,as I have stated above,her policies are something entirely different,and should be debated in the context of America`s wider foreign policies,not whether she fits the notion of someone`s blackness or not.

Her blacness was a part of this thread, and the person Ms. Rice the human being, a black woman dealt with policies that affect ppl who suffer under the policy.

Debra Dickerson, writer of the End of Blackness is a black "neo-con" journalist. I think the quote was taken out of context, because in the book she sort of argues for people like Condie.
