Tuesday April 26/10:30 AM
I just got a surprise phone call from Terry.
Of course his phone card ran out so i called him back right away.
He's so excited , Gail Jackson dropped by to let him know the chair was at MoBay airport and she's getting the paper work together to go get it...soon come.
He also told me Tami and Joe (love dem peeps) dropped by and left a picture of me and the wife they had taken last year in Jamaica of us.he was thrilled.I'm sure he didn't remember what we looked like as it's been a year and he didn't really think we'd try and help him.
Well the tears were flowing as I said my good-byes and he can't wait to get out and about in his chair...bless him.
I'll keep ya updated as he should have it Very Soon.

The highlight of our trip was the visit with Terry!! He is truly an incredable person. The look on his face when I gave him the pictures of his new chair and then the pic of you and Betty will forever be etched in my mind. I will try and post the pics that we took tomorrow.

The update on the chair is Gail will be picking it up on Friday from MoBay airport for Terry.
Terry is reported to be coming to the regular Sunday BC from Selinas on Sunday, I hope he can make it.
Kat is going to be visiting him next week and other noteable visitors coming up are Indy Bob and Thunderhead is hosting a "Yard Party" at terrys house on May 7...big up to him for that.
Tami and I spoke on the phone and she is such a sweet person for thinking of us on her vaction. love dem peeps.

More Up date news.!!!!!
Today (Thursday) there are people building a ramp at Terrys house so he can get the wheelchair in and out...how cool is that [img]/forums/images/graemlins/smile.gif[/img]
After reading one of my reports a boardie named KAT who is in Jamaica now took up this cause and along with Gail Jacksons carpenter is making it happen as I write this......wow...I'm just thrilled at the response of so many people coming to Terrys aid.
Tears are flowing and i can't see to type..bye for now...and bless

News Flash,
Gail picked up the chair and had her Mat.man /carpenter charge and assemble the chair.
It's running and reported by Gail as fast too.. [img]/forums/images/graemlins/laugh.gif[/img] She also sent this man over to terrys house the other day and had hin install a "concrete" ramp into Terry's house, thanks to some funds raised by Kat...big up Kat [img]/forums/images/graemlins/wink.gif[/img]
Now for some Big News...No Duty...!!
Yes your reading right , No Duty on wheelchairs, finally something the Goverment is willing to let us ship in stuff with a break for the needy.,,Jah be praised for this blessing.

I had nightmares the chair would be broken or not working upon arrival.., no problems so far.
Terry would have been heartboken.
I woke up at 5am today knowing he's getting this chair tomorrow (Sat) has kept me freeting All night. I can't wait for the photos, I hope someone takes few shots [img]/forums/images/graemlins/tongue.gif[/img]ray:
I plan on calling him as soon as I get word he's got it and taken a ride around his yard.
