After every pice of shocking footage, Clinton paused the tape and did a little interview with April. She is crying, not tears of joy or laughter, she is sobbing and trying to play it off as tears of laughter through out her entire interview. I see right through it, there is something else going on there...perhaps it was just nerves on top of some other things. [img]/forums/images/graemlins/confused.gif[/img] I don't know but it felt uncomfortable, to see someone cry so hard and be so vulnerable at something that was intended to be light hearted and fun. [img]/forums/images/graemlins/frown.gif[/img]

I felt terrible for her and as soon as they wrapped up taping for her segment I walked over and gave her a ((((hug))))). I told her she wasn't alone, that there were 2 other women in the room that were about to embarassed right along with her. If I was sweating a river, she was sweating a waterfall! It was nice to know I wasn't the only one super hot from the tv lights and the nervous energy flowing through my veins.

Aprils story was pretty good. She is a single mom and was rasied by her father. She never really had a mothers warmth or guidance through out her life and was desperate for help. She stated numerous times that budget was a huge concern for her so she contiuned to wear what she had from years prior. The interviews of her family and friends all spoke about what a hard worker she was but it was hard to see that through the low cut shirts and the spandex pants. There wasn't anything malicious about it, you could tell it was all done in good taste and in good fun.

I relaxed after Aprils segment was done and was grateful when they decided to take a 5 minute break before moving on to the next nominee. *whew!* I needed to cool off.
