being independent does not mean that you should always go dutch on a date.
We are not back in hunter gathering days where a man should be strong to defend and provide for his woman. instead we are in an age where we can each get our own stuff. but what does a man bring to the relationship? sex only?

We women, whether we like to admit it or not, like strength and power of some kind. Physical power is no longer a big requirement in today's society but atleast responsibilty and the ability to take care of a woman makes him that more attractive in her eyes.
If I'm out with a guy(he asked me out on a date) and he expects me to pay I will see him as deficient and not want him. he's not a man. I could be making millions. Matters not.

If we are well into a relationship then we can equally contribute to whatever needs we may have be it financial or otherwise, and I dont expect us to fight about that.

A man can only do , what u let him....
Sometimes a wooman will do things to let a man save face, but sometimes in the saving of his face, she looses hers..
A dem kinda situtation women have to work on to change, but the change must begin first with demself...

Di flip side tu that is women who feel seh dem can use that excuse everytime dem have a little fight. They too use that same crap as if that the reason for the fight/argument. Insecurity and lack of thinking cause that.
Funny think is when dem get dem self tu a point whe dem can do a ting now the same arguemnt whe dem use to have have a different reason why dem a argue even dowe a di sed situation. bwaay unu no easy a tall. 777 after being in that relationship, all I can say it is easier said that done. Things are different in my life now. However, at that time, it wasn't as simple that is why he is my "ex" [img]/forums/images/graemlins/laugh.gif[/img]
