All of them alter the state of consciousness. You didn't say anything about hallucinations (which can be induced by lack of sleep, btw, so you must be calling for a legal requirement for everyone to sleep every day!).
Food alters ones state of conciousness huh! A wandah is what you eat?
As to sleep there is no need to call for a legal requirement, everyone can attest to what happens when the body does not get enough rest. It's either sleep or RIP.
You said 'alters one's state of consciousness'. If you don't understand what you're writing, perhaps you should try not writing

You probably are familiar with caffiene in the form of 'No-Doz'(100mg} caffiene and Vivarin (200mg). well as you prpbably know. Caffiene is an analiptic which have generalize effects on the brainstem and spinal cord,which inturn produce an incrtease in response to external stimuli. This response is nogeneral and as a result involves all external stimuli which includes visual stimuli.
Caffiene is one of only 2 anelaptics that re avaiaable wityhout a prescription.
Not because it is safer than the others,but due to social disturbance that would result from it's being so treated.Comment

Right! and you are saying that caffiene in high enough doses can produce states of hallucination comparable to weed? I would think that people use caffee and caffiene related products to stay alert not to get high. Thing is coffee is usually ingested a cup at a time and what you are speaking of is the extreme. Right! and you are saying that caffiene in high enough doses can produce states of hallucination comparable to weed? Coffee is not ingested as a recreational drug to induce relaxation and get high folks use coffee and caffiene related products to stay alert not to get high. Thing is coffee is usually ingested a cup at a time and what you are speaking of is the extreme which could be true for just about any stimulant. A cup of coffee however certainly does not have the same effect as a spliff. And regardless of what there is no comparison between the two, one being a stimulant and the other being a depressant with strong hallucinatory properties. Yeah well I've heard some pretty fluffy stuff coming from people who were high on sensemilia, and none of it was based on reality so if that is not hallucinating I don't know what is. But I guess it is all according to what you consider to be hallucinating.Originally posted by OleGallis:
