I have 2 Masters Degree. One in Classic Literature & the Other in Education. I wrote a thesis for one and took a comprehensive exam for the other.

I was only stressed in my second program b/c my advisor didn't like me and tried to say my comp scores were "lost" two weeks before I was to certify to graduate. Oh and the statistics class was hard. I ended up paying someone to collect and calculate my stats for me. I didn't trust my own math skills.

Go in with your idea for research early. Then you can gear everything towards that.

Same here .. Wos like how mi lef schoool so lang. Been out since '95 But this is something I have to do to jump start my next career.

I did have to write a 200 word personal statement about why I wanted to be in this pgm. No exams needed because I have a high Undgergrad GPA. That was it - Apply ..write the statement..register..pay di bill an whalla!

Zed I took my stats class, but when it came time toi put stats in my actual research, I paid someone to compile the info & check it for me. I didn't trust, my math work.

Do you guys have tuition reimbursement on your job as a benifit? Check with your HR dept. Most jobs have tuition reimbursment (even if it is a percentage) for continuous education.

Well, it's actually $495 but whatever.

The job does tuition assistance/reimbursement if yuh working in a related field. My program is waaay off.

I'll probably do a student loan.

or apply for a grant..
ask the financial aid office of the college of your choice..
they usually know about grants being offered in your fields

De student loan payment is a B**ch. But at least I get to deduct $2,500.00 against my tax return. What I need is a total student loan forgiveness!

Yeah Iluv.. they have it and I am taking advantage of it ..di only prablem is dem only pay $3000 a yr.. **kiss teet** Dat deh jus cova bout 2 an a half wot a class a yr to backfoot

I was approved for it though ... dem warn mi seh as lang as mi stay in di computer/business field I am OK
