Christianity is great and I can say I don't need a rockit sciantist to tell me what is right or wrong and tell me about no big bang. I now christianity is my right choice, cause in christianity it feel right. Plus what do I have to lose serving god almighty, nothing.

Christianity the religion and not about the individuals that follow it I presume.

how do i feel about the religion, I don't like it, i don't like quite a few of it's teachings and it had been used and abused as a means and justification for some horrible crimes against humanity. the bible for the most part is poorly written, full of plagiarism, and contradiction, and in my opinion a confusing silly piece of literature

I have noticed some negative vibe toward Christianity in this forum.

Christianity yes, however I do draw a distinction between the religion and it's followers, who are individuals that deserve the same respect as everyone. I don't like the religion but I know that the people who believe are just like me (except for the belief) and many are friends and acquaintances I love.

Do you have something against it? Answered already, yes I do. however i am content to leave it alone if it leaves me and mine alone. I've said many times religion is a personal affair and if people keep it personal and not bring it into the laws of the land or into my life and home I wont have any problem with it. the problems i do have with it have been brought about by the attempt of some Christians to force their beliefs on the world.

I am a theology student and am learning how to study what others believe and what I believe with a more open minded and critical approach.

Hermenutics.... What the objectives of a religion and who are the intended audience....

Christianity is often used as a banner to defend racism, hatred, violence, inequality and many other issues.

Can you not recognise that this is man's doing... This is their interpretation ... and it is WRONG

Christianity may have been taught to our ancestors because the Whites ... well I don't know what they thinking. But they did not invent Christianity.

My thoughts are not clear at the moment; but is it justifiable to blame the law for the way society is?

Can you demonstrate, beyond reasonable doubt, the existence of an actual divine being that brought Christianity (as opposed to any other theistic religion) about? As far as I can make out, there is no such proof. Christianity is a human creation, and one that degrades, distorts, and ultimately destroys humanity. It is the enemy of liberty, justice, peace, order, and even thought.

As you aware there are many religions... Christianity is the only one that offers true salvation... because we are already saved! All we are asked to do is recognise this.
